Royal Tyrrell Museum of Palaeontology
Have you signed up for Lay’s Chip Trips yet?
If not, you really should – as it’s pretty easy to collect points and redeem them for a variety savings for you this summer. After all, summer months in Canada means loading up the kids and visiting attractions and taking in Canada’s entertainment. So, why not take the frugal road traveled and get discounts while you roam?
As I mentioned previously, I’ll be posting all summer on how our family saved money on Canadian attractions and entertainment, just by using Lays Chip Trips!
One example of how Lay’s Chip Trips can work for you this summer, is by redeeming just 10 points {10 points are found on just one bag of Lay’s Potato Chips} and getting a 2 for 1 pass to Royal Tyrrell Museum in Drumheller, Alberta. For a family of 5, I know that every bit helps financially, and a BOGO pass to a museum is a great thing to have! In this case, paying for just one adult instead of two saved us some money! And, it’s so simple to get one too!
On our way, we decided to stop for lunch at Subway to gain some energy for our museum trip. Using a $5 Gift Card for Subway which I got from Lay’s Chip Trip, gave all 3 kids their meal {they each eat a third of a sub, usually}. So, paying for 2 out of 5 of us was a lot better than paying for all!
The Royal Tyrrell Museum is found in the badlands of Drumheller, Alberta. Home to one of the world’s largest dinosaur diaplays, Tyrell Museum is fun for both the kids that like to look and those that like to learn. It was a great family-fun day, we got to see a Canadian attraction for less!
I am participating in the Lay’s Chip Trips program by Mom Central
on behalf of Frito Lay. I received Lay’s Chip Trip points and a gift card to offset
my trip costs to facilitate this post. The opinions on this blog are my own.
This looks like fun!
I always enjoyed going to the museum. I’m going to have to buy a bag of Lays I guess! The Royal Tyrrell is always a fun afternoon, especially since it’s only 45 mins away from me!
It’s handy to have such great attractions close, isn’t it?!
We have yet to take our kids there! I know they would have fun. Great pics.
I just visited that same museum on June 29th with my work! What a fantastic place!!
We go every year! It’s a lot of fun for the kids and us – plus the scenery is gorgeous there!
Perfect excuse to get a bag of chips! We’re planning a trip to Drumheller this summer and I was just googling coupons for the museum last week. 🙂
