This year I’ve been regularly sharing the products in the Hoover ONEPWR range. If you’re new here and unfamiliar, this family of Hoover ONEPWR products feature a cordless cleaning system. All use the same powerful lithium-Ion battery, which provides cord-free and convenient cleaning both in and out of the home.
The time has come to highlight the HOOVER ONEPWR Spotless GO Portable Carpet Cleaner, which just might be my favourite in the collection. Truth be told, I have and love the Hoover spotless portable cleaner, so I was concerned that the cordless spotless GO wouldn’t hold its own in comparison.
Yet sometimes I worry for nothing, because if I wasn’t convinced the cordless ONEPWR system wasn’t the bomb then, I sure do now.
A portable carpet cleaner is meant to be taken everywhere and anywhere, for those small spills and messes. So when you do so tethered to a power cord – then do the same yet with the freedom from cord … Well, it puts the ‘portable’ in its name.
Speaking from experience, a job is done faster and with less hassle when you don’t have to stop and find the nearest outlet. Or, find an extension cord because there isn’t one nearby. It makes me wonder if a corded cleaner is portable at all, really.
Hoover ONEPWR Spotless GO Portable Carpet Cleaner Features
My skeptical-self reared it’s evil head upon studying the box it came in. It was small, surely too small to have a high-performance carpet cleaner in there. When taking it out of the box, it was so light, yet at first use I was reminded that this doesn’t equal to weakness. Silly me, again.
So light in fact, that these images shown are of my 11 year old carrying it around and cleaning spots on the carpet. Not at all cumbersome or heavy, she tackled many spots without hesitation or of course, changing outlets. Because, cordless!
One thing that had me scouring the instruction book a few times to be sure, is that you don’t add water to a separate container in the Hoover ONEPWR Spotless GO Portable Carpet Cleaner. It comes with a trial size bottle of the pre-mixed Paws and Claws cleaning solution. It’s premixed, so for a forth time I had to confirm that no water was required. I was impressed that once again I was saved a step.
Paws and claws is part of the reason why I this house needs a portable carpet cleaner. My cat and dog have contributed to the messes I’ve had to clean, especially since out home is mainly carpeted.
Yet for full disclosure, I’ll take most of the blame for the spots and stains on the carpet. Apparently ‘always seen with a coffee’ in hand also means that I leave traces of my path taken. Oops.
Yet whatever these spots are and who they’re from, I have a lot less of them now. As with a lot though, it’s a never-ending job, because tomorrow is a new day and a new pot of coffee. This is why this portable and cordless feature thanks to ONEPWR has won me over. Just grab & go and tackle every spill. Every mess. Anytime.
Emptying the dirty water tank was simple, and the hose is removable if you want to give that a quick rinse after as well. I’m a big fan of feature like that, because your cleaning products shouldn’t be dirty.
Bring lightweight, compact, and cordless means that spots are cleaned in the living room, to the office and then the stairs. In minutes. You can even clean those carpeted spots in the vehicle.
You simply grab the universal battery off the charger, and GO. You don’t even need to stop and add water at all. The Hoover ONEPWR Spotless GO Portable Carpet Cleaner is a little powerhouse that’s for sure. It might be small, but it’s mighty with features that are sure to impress even the toughest critic.
