Don’t you just love appetizer dips as a snack or when guests come over? My favourites include White Bean Hummus – with homemade crisp pita chips, and this BEST Buffalo Chicken Dip ever. Yet I think my Dill Pickle Dip will be a hit with anyone who loves pickles.

When making non-dip appetizers, on occasion I make Jalapeño Poppers. While the kids can only take so much because of the spice – I have found it’s always a hit with the adults in a gathering.

Yet appetizer party dips are where it’s at when there is a gathering, so serving jalapeno peppers in dip form only seems fitting. Am I right? This party food will impress all your guests, as it’s the best Jalapeño Popper Dip recipe ever!

How to Make Jalapeño Popper Dip:

The following are the simple ingredients to make this easy Jalapeño Popper Dip recipe:

  • softened cream cheese
  • mayonnaise
  • Mexican blend shredded cheese, sharp cheddar cheese, or mozzarella cheese
  • Parmesan cheese
  • green chilies
  • jalapeños
  • Panko breadcrumbs
  • butter
  • salt and pepper

I prefer to use cream cheese for this recipe, while some call for sour cream or greek yogurt. It makes the dip thicker, and creamier than the alternative. Plus, a cheesy dip is a crowd pleaser.

To Make: In a large bowl mix the cream cheese, using a hand mixer. Add the cup mayonnaise, two kinds of cheese, green chilies, and jalapeños. Add salt and pepper to taste. Mix until well combined. Spread the cream cheese mixture into your pie pan or casserole dish.

In a medium bowl combine your bread crumbs, reserved Parmesan, and melted butter. Sprinkle bread crumb mixture over top of your cheese mixture and bake until golden brown on top and you got some crispy panko.

When done, serve right in the baking dish. It’ll have a nice and crisp crunchy topping. You can garnish with green onions, green chilies, or fresh jalapenos.
