  1. These look so good, your pictures are making me drool, I’m going to have give these a try, can’t wait for the weekend to come now!!

    1. I’m obsessed with these pancakes!! I use half the sugar to make them a bit healthier and stir in some oats which pair perfectly with the wheat and cinnamon. Best pancake recipe I’ve found so far! 🙂

  2. I was totally thinking about upping the health factor on pancakes – there are so many things you can do to make them healthier and mmm so tasty! Did you use real Canadian maple syrup? 😀 I could drink that stuff lol!

      1. First attempt to make pancakes from scratch, turned out sooo good, also added blueberries ?

  3. I’ll have to give these a try. I make from scratch pancakes already but I want to try a whole wheat recipe and this one sounds perfect.

  4. This recipe was a disaster for me. The batter was too thick even after I added twice as much milk than was originally called for. the outsides were burning before the inside was done. I’ll have to figure out what went wrong.

    1. What? That is so odd Amy! Mine turned out so perfect, I’ll think on this about what went wrong and reply if I come to a solution. Right now I’m at a loss though … 🙁

    2. This recipe was so great! I will say I had to figure out the right amount of heat to use so they wouldn’t all burn before being done inside. These don’t bubble on top like regular pancakes to let you know when to flip them. Once I had my temp under control they were fluffy and perfect. I even added chocolate chips-so much for health factor. Ha! My boys loved this recipe!

  5. These pancakes turned out perfect! I added a little extra milk for preferred consistency. They are fluffy and delicious! I make pancakes for my family regularly and will be switching to this recipe. The brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla give it such a slightly sweet taste so we don’t feel the need to have as much syrup. You should definitely try it!

  6. So delicious!! I substituted honey for brown sugar, added nutmeg and clove spices, a small fine grated carrot and a banana. Definitely a keeper!!

  7. Delicious! I did experiment and added 1/2 cup oats and 1/4-1/2 cup ground flaxseed and replaced the brown sugar with 1 Tbsp Truvia brown sugar. Top with sliced banana and a drizzle of raw honey. Yummy AND healthy! Not words I often use together. 🙂

  8. Absolutely delicious! I absolutely love the whole wheat flour!! I added the extra tablespoon of milk and cut the brown sugar to 1tbs. They came out perfect! Next time I will be adding blueberries to the batter!!

  9. Just tried this recipe and we loved it! The pancakes were perfect, thank you for sharing it!
