Get your Copy of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast

Disney’s Beauty and the Beast is, in fact, my all-time animated Disney favourite – ever since I was gifted a VHS copy on Christmas morning so many years ago. My first introduction led to re-watching it so many times that I still know the movie word for word. Fast-forward to 2010, I then got to meet Paige O’Hara, the original voice of Belle – and even sang ‘Little Town’ with her during a dinner. That moment will always be dear to my heart as one a life-changing moment.

Needless to say, I was over the moon when Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast,” the live-action adaptation was released. And – It’s available to purchase on June 6th on Digital HD, Blu-ray™, Disney Movies Anywhere, DVD and On-Demand!

Disney's Beauty and the Beast DVD Combo Pack Review

To be honest, remakes makes me cringe, since they are rarely as good as the previous and if anything, just makes me want to watch the original. Yet I so loved Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, the live-action adaptation. I was impressed that it was the same as the animated film, yet with a few changes such as new songs {but the ‘old’ ones are still there!}, more humour, and a bit more insight into the story itself – such as information on how Belle’s Mother passed away.

Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, was so very good. I know I’ll watch it time and time again. It’s definitely one to add to your movie library.

When you purchase the movie on Digital HD, Blu-ray™, Disney Movies Anywhere, DVD and On-Demand – so many bonus features are included with each. The release invites viewers to get up close and personal with the filmmakers and cast to see how this beloved animated film was transformed into a new live-action classic, from the first enchanted table read to a fascinating look at how the film was brought to life utilizing lavish sets, elaborately designed costumes and props, and state-of the-art technology.
