Meeting Basic Health Needs with Jamieson Essentials

Have you made a goal to live a more healthy lifestyle? If so, what exactly does that entail?

A recent poll discovered that 40% of Canadians are overwhelmed when starting a healthy lifestyle and don’t know where to begin. I totally get that folks, I’ve been there many times. The statement in itself is such a broad term that unless you create small attainable goals, the odds might not be in your favour.

I recently discussed ways that I made small changes for the better, which resulted in great gains. You can’t start a healthy lifestyle expecting to run a marathon right off the bat, but you can make it a mission to walk briskly or try intermittent jogging. Take small steps and work up from there.

For instance, one of my goals for health is to meet my daily requirements for water intake. To succeed, I have made the habit of always having a water bottle on me, at arms reach. I find that even having the water bottle right next to me when I drive makes a big difference, take a sip when you stop at every red light! This also curbs the craving for a drive thru stop for a favourite high-calorie sweet beverage as well.

Another small attainable goal of mine is to take daily vitamins and supplements, since one can never be sure that they are taking in enough with just food alone. Yet this step alone can seem daunting, because of the vast amounts of options and information out there on which to take. It’s been discovered that 44% of Canadians are unsure if they are taking the correct vitamins and supplements to suit their needs, and a whopping 31% do not take them at all for this reason. Yikes!

Jamieson Essentials makes it easy by identifying the four products that best meet the health needs of Canadians. This is great news since 61% of Canadians agreed that when it comes to taking supplements, they wish someone would clearly identify what they needed to take. Thanks for making it easier to reach our health-related goals, Jamieson!

The new Jamieson Essentials™ lineup includes the four products most Canadians would benefit from supplementing with daily for optimal health:

Jamieson 100% Complete Multivitamins for Adults – an easy way for individuals to meet their daily vitamin needs, as recommended by Health Canada.

Jamieson Extra Strength Omega-3 – 40% of Canadians aren’t getting enough omega-3s from diet alone, which puts them at an increased risk of heart disease. New Extra Strength Omega-3 delivers an extra boost of omega-3 fats to support cardiovascular health, all without any fishy aftertaste or burp back.

Jamieson Probiotic 10 Billion – 20 million Canadians suffer from digestive health issues every year. Probiotics play an important role in overall digestive and immune health, as they help to reduce symptoms such as bloating, and aid in proper digestion and regularity. There’s also additional added benefits as well. Jamieson Probiotic 10 Billion is a one-a-day way to promote optimal digestive balance.

Jamieson Vitamin D – Two-thirds of Canadians aren’t getting sufficient quantities of vitamin D to prevent major diseases. A fat-soluble nutrient, vitamin D plays a key role in the maintenance of good health and helps support a healthy immune system. It also helps the body absorb calcium to build strong bones and teeth. Taking Jamieson Vitamin D 1,000 IU is an easy way to get your daily dose. If you are taking a Jamieson Vitamin D supplement in combination with the 100% Complete Multivitamin as part of the Jamieson Essentials program, consider taking Jamieson Vitamin D 400 IU to meet Health Canada’s recommendation for daily vitamin D intake.

Jamieson Essentials makes meeting basic health needs simple, and takes the dreaded guess work of what to take out of the equation. I’m taking a 21 day journey with Jamieson Essentials, and combining it with other small attainable goals to live a healthier life. Why not join me? Let’s make 2017 a healthier and happier year for us all!

It’s wonderful that Jamieson has made it easy to know where to start. It can be overwhelming when you go to the vitamin section at the drug store. I have been taking all of the above (plus a couple of extra) for over a year now on my journey to get healthy and strong. Seems to be helping, although I still struggle with the water. lol
