How to Stop Cold and Flu Before it Starts

Each sneeze, sniffle and cough I hear makes me stop in my tracks right now; I’m on pins and needles waiting for cold and flu to run rampant through the house. It’s only a matter of time right?

Back to school, a change in weather and air moisture, more stress and a lower immune system – these are the reasons cold and flus increase in frequency in Autumn. Each year millions of Canadians get cold and flu, so it’s expected that at some point it’s got to hit our family. Once that happens, it’s chaos of course – cold symptom onset can be as fast as 10-12 hours after exposure and last 7-10 days, Flu incubation period ranges from 1-7 days after exposure and can last 2-3 weeks.

It’s no wonder we feel like sitting ducks, just waiting for symptoms to show.

Once one person in the family has cold and flu, as history has shown, it jumps from family member to family member. In fact, last time the cold and flu made its rounds through my family, it came back for a second go-around at me. Do you know what I don’t have time for? A cold or flu! Life, duties and responsibilities don’t take a time-out because Mom is sick, it only sets my schedule back for weeks.

For this reason, I’m take all necessary steps to prevent cold and flu attacking.

How to stop cold and flue before it starts, 7 preventative tips plus how to lessen duration

How to Stop Cold and Flu Before it Starts:

  • Wash your hands often and use proper hand washing techniques.
  • Keep your distance from those who have colds and flu.
  • Get enough sleep for immune system health, it helps fight off bacteria and germs.
  • Eat well and take essential vitamins and nutrients that supports the immune system.
  • Exercise to enhance your immune system, boost alertness, mood, and decrease stress.
  • Keep your body warm because shivering from being cold depresses the immune system.
  • Use Cold-Q™ at first sign of cold and flu

Are you familiar with Cold-Q™?

Cold-Q™ is a 100%-natural oral spray used to help you fight off a cold or flu by spraying its herbal formula to the back of your throat, the very site where colds and flus attack. Taken at the first sign of symptoms, Cold-Q™ can work with your body to fight off a viral attack at the very early stages of development.

Cold-Q™ helps boost your immune system at a time when it’s needed most, the formula is free of chemicals, pesticides, heavy metals, preservatives and is non-GMO. It is made up of a combination of natural herbs, which are listed on Health Canada’s Traditional Chinese Medicine Ingredient monograph.

To use, simply spray 5 times to the back of the throat, about 3 times per day. Do not eat or drink anything for 30 minutes after spraying.

That step in prevention is as easy as that, and convenient too – I keep my spray in my purse so I can use it wherever I am. If anything I feel very run down lately, and way more tired than usual. I most likely have a lowered immune system right now, so I’m taking Cold-Q™ so that cold and flu doesn’t take advantage of the fact that my own natural defences aren’t up to par. I can’t share a personal story about being recently ill from cold and flu, so I’d say that’s a good sign in itself.

If you already have a cold or flu, you should still use Cold-Q™! An open clinical study suggested that 80% of patients were free of symptoms within two days of treatment with Cold-Q™, as compared with the control group which showed less than 10% response by day three. The herbs in the formula have antiviral and immune enhancing properties that provide quick action – so less duration is a great thing as well. I’m sure we’d all want to bounce back to health as fast as possible.

Stopping cold and flu before it starts or to shorten the duration so it doesn’t take control of your life for longer than it should – try using Cold-Q™, It’s fast and effective in attacking colds and flu before they attack you!

Purchase Cold-Q online or find a retailer near you today!

Great tips. I’m always trying to make sure I do what I can to prevent getting the cold. Unfortunately it happens and most get them at least once a year.

I’ve never heard of ColdQ before. Will have to check it out! My husband just finish a cold and I was lucky enough not to catch it. It’s a lot of work though, lots of disinfecting, airing the house and hand washing. Doesn’t always work…..
