Calgary Stampede Limited Edition Cookies

This time of year my province of Alberta explodes with everything ‘Calgary Stampede‘. While the event is actually world famous, for those that aren’t familiar – The Calgary Stampede is an annual rodeo, exhibition and festival held for 10 days every July in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Known as “The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth”, the Stampede attracts over one million visitors per year from around the world – and features one of the world’s largest rodeos, a parade, midway, stage shows, concerts, agricultural competitions, chuckwagon racing and First Nations exhibitions.

Calgary Stampede

Needless to say Calgary {and surrounding areas} counts down to the event in a big way – offices and storefronts are painted in cowboy themes, residents don western wear {even those who don’t normally dress in the attire}, and numerous parties are held before and during the event. Of course it’s only natural that some brands get a Calgary Stampede overhaul to get excited for ‘The Greatest Outdoor Show On Earth’?

What gets you most excited about the Stampede?

When Canadians were asked this question, the three most popular responses were cowboys, horseshoes, and wagon wheels – all of which are Calgary Stampede icons.

So, Dare has created Limited Edition Stampede Wagon Wheels featuring these exact fun, stampede shapes. The delicious chocolatey combination of marshmallow and cookie is peanut free and has no artificial flavours.

Isn’t it great when a cookie icon and an event icon come together in a mass {delicious} celebration?

The Calgary Stampede Limited Edition Cookies themselves will be a big hit not only for its theme but because we need plenty of snacks to get us through those fun summer days! Yet how cute would these be for cowboy themed birthday parties or barbecues at home?

We’re going camping very soon, and the kids get so disappointed when the weather prevents us from making s’mores in the evening. Wagon Wheels to the rescue – there’s chocolate, marshmallow and cookie in individual packs, less mess too!

The Stampede Wagon Wheels are only available for a limited time at most major retailers. So you better get your hands on them now!

I do love Wagon Wheels and whenever I go to England I enjoy being able to eat them again. I’ve tried these and I’m afraid that I don’t like them the chocolate isn’t right I’m sorry to say.
