Have you ordered your holiday cards yet?

I’m always on the ball with this one, I consider it the first step in prepping for the Christmas season. Like the past few years, I already ordered our holiday photo cards from Minted.com. I just love their design templates from talented independent designers, ease of website in making your perfect card, the service – and of course the quality cards themselves. They are the ideal personal touch that I love to share with family and friends this time of year. 

I always do a little squeal when our holiday photo cards from Minted.com arrive each year and I’ll be jumping up and down in just a couple of days. I cannot wait to see them in person!

This year, while browsing Minted.com, I was elated to see their new designs released this year. I always love so many, I have a hard time choosing, yet once I spotted their foil-pressed cards, I knew these were the ones for me. They have that slight bling that screams holidays!

Thing is, Minted.com has all sorts of cool options like completely custom cards where you can turn a drawing into a card. Plus, cards don’t have to be rectangular – there’s all sorts of shapes and folds to really make them your own. You can change fonts, sizing and text – choose from one photo to many … really, the options are endless, you’ll just have to check out the website for yourself.

I also ordered Ornament shaped cards this year, so that our recipients can hang our photo card on their tree as an option. I love this idea as a change to cards being displayed on counters, or fridges. And they make such a great keepsake to our collection of ornaments.

Of course, as usual, no speak peeks at our own cards this year. I like to keep them a surprise to family and friends when they get their mail – instead of reading about it here. That’s one of the best parts about sending Christmas photo cards, knowing they produce a smile among the assortment of bills and flyers – and more smiles through the season when on display. 

There’s always deals and sales at Minted.com too, it’s so nice to save during the holiday season. They will also print your recipients addresses on envelopes at no extra charge!

  17. I love the Elephant Bums nursery print!! I’m currently expecting and not finding out the gender, so I love that it is gender neutral 🙂

  21. I love the Simple Elegance Holiday Photo Cards. But there are so many other beautiful designs it was hard to chose just one.
