Reese Mug Cake recipe is made with Reese Spread, a perfect quick and easy minute mug cake dessert with an epic chocolate and peanut butter flavour.

If more time allows than this 2-minute mug cake, also make sure to try my Chocolate Fudge Cake or this Pumpkin Spice Poke Cake!

I feel like parents everywhere should celebrate the survival of this last {first} week of school – it was the textbook definition of chaos {pun intended}. My suggestion is doing so with this Reese Mug Cake, your solution to enjoying a peanut butter and chocolate cake in just a couple minutes.

Pre-back-to-school I pictured falling into routine, feeling less stressed, and having much more time on my hands to get things done. In reality, I haven’t been this busy in a long time – paperwork, meetings, to-do’s, shopping, scheduling, carpooling, cooking, cleaning, organizing, planning … rinse and repeat.

This is why I totally endorse taking just a few literal minutes and hiding in a corner with Reese Mug Cake – you deserve it!

Reese Mug Cake fills the ‘I want cake’ craving, without actually having to spend a lot of time baking. So that when the kids are tucked in, tomorrow is planned, lunches are made, and the long day is finally over – you can slow life down for a few minutes of solitude and ‘just be’.

This Reese Mug Cake recipe is made with the new and delicious Reese Spreads, based on the iconic Peanut Butter Cup treats. It gives this minute mug cake an epic chocolate and peanut butter taste that you’ll want time and again.

I find the perfect topping to be ice cream, completing this perfect quick and easy dessert.

Aside from my own crafty indulgence, there are many other Reese Spreads recipes to try, this one product that you’ll want to have stocked in the pantry at all times.

Reece Spreads is also great to use as dip for fruits; spread onto toast, waffles, crackers and/or bacon. Yes, bacon.

And let’s not forget Reese Snacksters with graham cracker dippers and Reese Peanut Butter Chocolate Spread – they are great for taking on the go.

That being said, you can also just open up a jar of Reese Spreads and eat a spoonful on it’s own, which I’ve done myself many times. In fact, I feel that the jar needs to be bigger so that you can just leave the spoon in there for convenience.

Whether you spoon it, spread it or bake with it – that’s completely your call, yet it all begins with that spoon in your hand. Personally, my votes for all three.

Have you ever made a Mug Cake?

I love mug cakes. Enough to satisfy a sweet moment, but not enough to be hanging around and tempting me every day. (or every time I pass the cake pan!). Thanks for sharing. I’m going to have to try this new Reese spread. And soon 🙂
