Summer is over, and the first sign of this was the day that I had to turn on the furnace, and grab a pair of my favourite fuzzy socks which I hadn’t worn in months.
As much as I hated having to wear socks again, part of me felt some giddiness as I sat down on the edge of the bed. These particular socks are true bliss on the feet.
Yet my ‘time to get cozy’ attitude quickly changed when I pulled them on, and immediately felt resistance and the grinding of fabric on my dry skin. This was made worse when part of the fabric went against the grain of the cracks in my feet. Putting on these plush and comfortable socks was actually a painful experience.
I am generally prone to having dry and cracked feet, yet they are especially bad after a long summer of going barefoot. Life happens while on your feet and with each step; and evidence of life fully lived, displayed itself quite literally.
Not wanting to go through this everyday when putting on socks, I debated booking a professional pedicure. Yet I really hesitate to do so, since they use the dreaded potato-peeler/foot razor tool, which is both effective and frightening at the same time. Just the idea of someone scraping a blade on my feet makes me incredibly nervous, so for myself, pedicures are anything but relaxing.
Thus, I’m always torn between wanting to be rid of my horribly cracked feet, and the pure fear of the foot-blade. Yet, something needed to be done, my feet had gotten so bad over the summer. I developed such deep cracks that my feet looked filthy, even just after a shower. It was embarrassing.
A good friend of mine is also an aesthetician and only uses a wooden foot file, yet she knows that all the paddling in the world won’t help my feet. This method isn’t effective at all, and just leaves the worker-bee exhausted with hand cramps. Since she’s an aesthetician, I asked her for advice on what I could use that isn’t as evasive and frightening as the blade scraper, yet way more effective than a manual foot paddle.
She told me about a product which she’s been hearing a lot of great things about – and as fate would have it, it’s the very same tool that I was offered the chance to try out.
You might have seen the Amopé™ Pedi Perfect™ Electronic Foot File in stores, it now features Diamond Crystal rollers with a soft and comfortable handle.
Amopé™ Pedi Perfect™ runs on batteries, which are included, and is so very simple to use. When the device is turned on, the roller head starts spinning and you simply hold it to the skin of your dry (not wet) feet. The roller, much like sandpaper, gently files off calloused skin.
Using Amopé™ Pedi Perfect™ doesn’t cause discomfort, it actually feels like the old-style wooden paddle but is countless times more effective. Plus, there’s no strain at all to use, you simply hold the tool and it does the work. If anything, it’s pleasing to watch all that dead skin slough off.
In minutes I finished using Amopé™ Pedi Perfect™ on one foot using the coarse roller, and gave it a quick rinse and dry. Then I immediately compared the just-finished foot with the other, and the difference was simply amazing.
Never before had I so easily given myself a pedicure at home, with this kind of great result. My one foot that just had the royal Amopé™ Pedi Perfect™ treatment was smooth and soft, and all the deep cracks were gone.
You can get both coarse, and extra coarse rollers for the Amopé™ Pedi Perfect™. Myself, I prefer the extra coarse, since my feet need the extra abrasion. That being said, the coarse might be all I need to maintain soft skin once the callouses are completely gone.
After the other foot was filed, I had a matching pair of smooth and soft feet that felt like I had just had a professional pedicure … that is; without the cost, ample time involved, and traumatic experience.
All in all, I was greatly impressed and pleased with the results of the Amopé™ Pedi Perfect™.
I finished off my home pedicure with the application of Amopé™ Extra Rich Skin Recovery Foot Cream for some extra hydration, and those fuzzy socks slipped on with ease and comfort. It felt so good, finally!
Since using the Amopé™ Pedi Perfect™ Electronic Foot File, I’ve actually admired my feet at each chance. You can buy replacement roller packs for the Amopé™ Pedi Perfect™ tool, which I plan on doing as I want to keep using this on my feet.
Life Happens with Every Step you take, and those steps deserve to be taken with comfort, health, happiness, and confidence. At the same time, there’s something to be said for frugal, time-saving and effective solutions like the Amopé™ Pedi Perfect™ Electronic Foot File.
The Amopé™ Pedi Perfect ™ Electronic Foot File can be used to achieve salon quality results at home! It removes areas of hard skin without any sharp blades to leave your feet feeling luxuriously soft. The foot file is furnished with a safety stop that halts the device as soon as too much pressure is applied to the skin. The pink Pedi Perfect gadget comes with a Diamond Crystal extra coarse roller head, with additional Regular Coarse & Soft Touch roller heads available for purchase separately. Get yours now!
