Month In Photos: July 2015

july 2015 month in photos myorganizedchaos

July 2015 was one that was spent almost entirely outdoors enjoying the wonderful summer sun!

The month started with Canada Day celebrations, camping and trips to the lake to cool off. We took one amazing cross-Canada family trip to New Brunswick where there was photo-opportunities galore and much to see and do. It was a great week spent visiting apart of Canada we hadn’t seen together, and a wonderful start to summer vacation.

From there we did more camping, day trips to the park and splash park, and who can forget Saturday mornings spent at the farmers market. Summer fresh peas are my favourite!

In July my twin girls turned 7, so there was a day of celebration {Minion style}, and a gathering of great friends to play lazer tag. That might be the one and only event we planned indoors for the month of July, which is a very good thing as that day seen a torrential downpour here in Central Alberta.

Of course the entire month was sprinkled with backyard play, playdates with friends, trampoline antics, running through the sprinkler, or a mix of both when the sprinkler is placed underneath the trampoline for maximum fun.

We ended July 2015 with a trip to Calgary for a few days. We took in a few attractions in the city, stayed at a wonderful hotel and shopped until we dropped at not one but two malls. I was happy to get a head start on Back to School shopping.

We did a ton in July 2015, it was time spent together enjoying the first half of summer break outdoors, because, SUMMER!
