I’ve before written how music and singing has brought my little Katie out of her shell in a big way. I’m happy to say that she’s still got her voice and is even more outgoing than ever, and I really do owe that a lot to Barbie. The DVD’s and musical dolls connect with her like none other, and each time she runs past me with doll in hand while singing away – I can’t help but smile.
This month, Barbie is building on its #BeSuper messaging by encouraging little ones to embrace their inner rockstar with the launch of the Rock n’ Royals DVD in September! This is one that we just have to have, I’m sure my Katie will insist and because I encourage her to build on her voice – it will be one we will own most definitely.
In this upbeat musical, Barbie stars as Princess Courtney, a modern-day princess whose world is flipped upside down when she switches places with Erika, a famous rockstar. The two very different worlds collide when a mistake sends Princess Courtney to Camp Pop and Erika to Camp Royalty.
While Princess Courtney and Erika learn to adapt to their different camps, they must come together when they find out both camps are at risk of shutting down. Through this process, they find their true voices, and come together for an epic sing-off that shows anything is possible!
In celebration of the DVD launch and to further encourage girls to find their musical superpower, Barbie is offering you and your little one the chance to win a trip to Los Angeles, California for the Barbie Rock n’ Royals concert featuring a surprise musical guest!
