Orange Creamsicle Cheesecake Mousse is a simple and easy recipe using jello, whipped topping and oranges. So creamy and smooth!

For another wonderful and easy mousse recipe, try this Strawberry Banana Mousse!

The perfect summertime treat is one that is easy to make and is seasonal. It’s only a few days into July and already we’ve done so much. While the schedule is just as packed as other times of the year, it’s a different kind of chaos.

Instead, we’re taking impromptu trips to the lake, market, activities, events, play dates and the like. So while our days are full, they are most certainly the best kind of full.

It’s during this time of year that I rely on the barbecue more and more, for entertaining or even when it’s just the kids and myself.

Dinners are less planned when compared to other seasons, and smaller in size since we’ve tend to snack throughout the day while on our travels.

Unlike planned dinner gatherings during the year, which might involve richer foods that take more time; it’s not uncommon to be entertaining unexpectedly during the summer months. Playdates in the afternoon might extend to staying for dinner, with little time to plan. Thank goodness for BBQ hotdogs!

The same applies to desserts during the summer, bring on the seasonal treats! This time of year it’s the fruity simple desserts that shine. Yet again, simplicity is the key, just like this Strawberry Banana Mousse!

Orange Creamsicle Cheesecake Mousse is a wonderful recipe from my friend Stacie at Simply Stacie. Her tastes are very similar to mine when it comes to all things food, and I drool over each and every one she features.

Lately Stacie has been crazy with the mousse recipes, she has so many flavours up her sleeve, there’s certainly one for all tastes and preferences.

Orange Creamsicle Cheesecake Mousse is a recipe that is so simple yet so delicious. It can be runny if you don’t let it sit though, so have patience with this one as the long it chills, the better.

I’d suggest taking a few minutes in the morning to make Orange Creamsicle Cheesecake Mousse, and by days end when you return home from your summertime fun – you have a tasty dessert waiting to be enjoyed as you relax on the deck and smile over memories made that day.

Enjoy!

Mmmmm That sounds delicious. I’m not a huge fan of cheesecake, but in a mousse form. I may convert. LOL Might have to recreate with substitutes as we are allergy-friendly. Think it will taste just as great!

I haven’t had orange creamsicle in a long time. I used to eat them frozen. I bet it’s great with a cheesecake mousse.
