On Friendship, Caring and Sharing

We feel very fortunate to have the best neighbours any homeowner could ask for. The couple that owns the house have become good friends and luckily, they have two daughters around the same age as my oldest and the twins. Since they live right next door, our girls play together often, all year long.

Yet it’s this time of year that their play grows in frequency due to the slowing down of activities and the nicer weather. Come summer, as history repeats itself, they’ll play from sun up to sun down. Most likely in sprinklers on hot summer days and yard hopping from ours to theirs – all day long.

friendship besties

Indeed, we are fortunate to have them so close, as are they to have built such solid friendships.

Our neighbour {the Mom of my girls besties} is also a talented Central Alberta photographer, and I love when she send me captures of our girls playing. She has a great eye for snapping the most ordinary of events – into an extraordinary memory.

A couple weeks ago she captured a photo of my twins and her daughter, enjoying the first popsicle of the season. The photo screams friendship and all the fun that it encompasses. It’s a photo that is simply – them.

I’m adding more photos to the twins walls, of them and their friends, and this photo was the perfect addition. So, I created a gallery frame on Posterjack, choosing a crisp white frame and mat, to compliment the vivid colours in the photo.

Then, because friendship is all about caring and sharing – I ordered an identical gallery frame for their daughter, so that my girls and her could have matching friendship photos adorning their bedroom walls.

The girls are so happy to see their besties on their walls, no matter which houses they are playing at, at that particular moment in time.

What beutiful pictures. Your friend has quite a talent for picture taking. The young ladies are so lovely and adorable. Looks like Kaitlyn got a little bit of a haircut. It is quite becoming.

What a great idea for my daughter’s room -she and her friend have been together since grade primary and have MANY great photos I could frame them in the same style frame.
