Twitter Party

Come to the #OneWalkShoeSelfie Twitter Party on June 2nd

If there’s one thing that scares me, it’s cancer. I’ve witnessed too many friends and family members be victims. Even loved ones you’d never think would be diagnosed – were. Thus, with ever bump, twinge of pain and feeling of ‘blah’, I worry. And worry endlessly.

On the website,, I read that Cancer is the leading cause of death in Canada and is responsible for 30% of all deaths. Plus, 1 out of 4 Canadians {29% of men and 24% of women} is expected to die from cancer.

It hits you like a truck-load of bricks, huh?

Given these startling Cancer statistics, chances are you know someone that’s been affected too, Cancer is one thing that touches us all in different yet lasting ways.

Cancer research and hopefully the abolishment – is something that I wholeheartedly support and wish for. For those who have been affected and for those that will – it’s a dream that I think about often, with each sad story I hear about.
