Month In Photos: March 2015

March 2015 – in like a lion and out like a lamb. This saying applies to both the weather, and our schedule for the month. My oldest had two cheer competitions in March, so the beginning was spent prepping for both, which included a week-long trip to Louisville Kentucky for the Jamfest Nationals Competition.

Our time spent there was amazing, from the competition itself {my first time experiencing cheer in the US, which was eye-opening to say the least}, right down to sight-seeing and taking in all that the area had to offer. I’m pleased to say that we took in Kentucky like a boss – many attractions, discovered some incredible restaurants, and even got in a little shopping in. AKA – Coach outlet, start the {rental} car!

My oldest even got to do some horseback riding while in Kentucky, but without the oversized cliche hat. Sadly, she went with her team to the equestrian center and there are no photos to share, yet it’s something she’ll talk about always.

In March the twins worked hard in their dance classes {gearing up for the grand recital!}, and we enjoyed many days of beautiful weather as well. Not saying the snow is totally behind us yet, since it seems to melt and be 18 above one day, then drastically drop to below zero the next day. Rinse and repeat. Yet, I’ll take it, since we are that much closer to summer.

We ended our March 2015 with spring break, a time to relax and recuperate from all the hustle and bustle of the month. Movie nights, sleepovers, play dates and all that fun stuff. After the roar of the lion this month, this sweet lamb is so soothing.

How was your March 2015?

I spent half of March at my daughter’s, helping out with my grandkids as their father was in hospital having back surgery – driving duties mainly. My daughter took me to see Disney on Ice for my birthday and we even took my grandkids too 😉
