Resolutions Reminder #giveaway


So, we are now well into 2015, time to check in and see how those resolutions are going!

While I didn’t technically make resolutions this year, I did set out to make a bunch of some small changes for the better. I am very proud of myself this year, since I’m still holding strong and it’s March! I’m very determined to make 2015 the year of change, and all for the better. I’m making it a year for me!

Perhaps you also want to make this the year the one that you overcome challenges, achieve the unexpected, build new relationships or even rehash old ones. Rather than be so hard on yourself, make each day one for new beginnings and a whole new chance to improve your day-to-day habits.

The difference lies in the small steps you make for the better. I like to think of it as not climbing a mountain but putting one foot in front of the other, and you will get closer. You needn’t drastically change your entire diet, but a few swaps and smart choices is the way to go.

Likewise, it’s the small products and helpful items that cheer you on, as you make those small changes.

Trying to walk instead of drive when time permits; trying to make more time for myself and get my family more involved with helping me out so that I don’t take on too much of the work that doesn’t need to necessarily be done by me; trying to drink more water; trying to cut out sugar; trying to go to bed earlier.

  8. My resolutions this year were to keep up with the mess in the house rather than being forced to do it all at once and to stop swearing so much.

  11. I began doing back exercises daily to work on helping my chronic back issues! God willing it helps!

  12. Meeting girlfriends once a month for dinner for some time to chat that doesn’t include chasing kiddos around.

  13. For my mental health, I am trying to stay calm and smile a lot more. For my physical health, I am trying to cut out a little salt and sugar.

  14. I have started working out three days a week to shed the baby weight that is seeming to linger! I turn on the music and use a step machine. It’s not much but it makes me feel good afterwards!

  15. I am working on getting out of debt, de-stressing and setting some other small goals to work towards.

  16. I run 3 times a week and do HIIT training on the off days. I feel the best ever at 52!

  17. I have bought a step counter and several of my co-workers and myself challenge each other to make our stop goal. making a difference in the way my clothes fit.

  18. I am trying to eat a bit healthier and make better exercise choices, such as taking the stairs more.
