Monster High Haunted

Have you ever been in a situation that initially scared you? I remember heading off to Grade 6 camp and I was beyond terrified. It wasn’t the being away from home for the weekend or even sleeping away from my home – it was the unknown. The inexperience with camp and what would go on there. Everything was fine and I had a great time, but that feeling of dread and fear stayed with me to this day.

With my oldest going to Grade 5 camp this year, my own experience is helping me understand what she might go through and allow me to take steps to reassure and prepare her for one great time!

As our little ones get older, life events seem to get bigger and even a little, well, scary! This is especially true in their tween years when they are faced with new experiences, roles and responsibilities. The best advice you can give your child is to be themselves and remain positive that they will naturally make connections with others. If they pretend to be someone or something that they’re not, they may find it difficult to be happy in their new surroundings!

BE YOURSELF, BE UNIQUE.

monster high haunted playadvocate

On March 24, Monster High is releasing Monster High Haunted on DVD. Lurk what’s waiting for the Monster High™ ghouls when they bring their killer fashion to the howlways of the spooktacular Haunted High!

When the ghouls of Monster High follow Spectra Vondergeist™ one day, they discover a creeperiffic Ghost World with an all-spirit school. But their scary-cute student bodies are hardly welcome with the very strict Principal Revenant, and she punishes Spectra with frightful detention chains that prevent her from re-joining Monster High. Now it’s up to the perfectly imperfect friends to take on ghostly forms in order to save one of their own from disappearing forever.

As I’ve said *a few* times before here on My Organized Chaos, my oldest is a huge Monster High fan and with every new video release, she is thrilled. Most likely as a result of her obsession, her sisters are showing interest in the line too. In fact, milestone hit – my oldest agreed to occasionally let the twins play with her treasured collection.

Of course this means that she’s added some new Haunted dolls to her wish-list {apparently she needs River Styxx NOW}. Plus, the dolls from the Haunted line are great ones for giving at birthdays, new means they are least likely to have them!
