Holiday Gift Ideas from Crayola

Each and every day my kids are seen colouring, cutting, glueing, glittering, stamping, decorating – they love to create and design! Many areas in my home are covered in their creations. A few times a day I’ll find the newest masterpiece sitting on my keyboard, a surprise for Mom when she sits down to work.

It only goes without saying that gifting to match interests, involves Crayola products. The brand has some new ones for the holiday season, all different but with the same purpose – to expand those creative minds and imaginations!

One cold afternoon after playing outside in the snow, I surprised them with the Widescreen Light Designer after a cup of hot chocolate.

Widescreen Light Designer

For ages ages 6+, the Widescreen Light Designer comes with markers made for this product, and after colouring, drawing and creating – the screen illuminates with seven different lighting effect sequences to show off the creation.

Of course this one is ‘so cool’ and allows them to really highlight their drawings. It’s great that you can see the lightshow in a lighted room, yet when taken into the dark, it’s like a party for their design.

Using a damp cloth, you can wipe the creation clean and start again – lessening the papers filling up your fridge and desk space. Plus, I love that there’s a space at the back to hold the markers intended for this product – so they don’t get mixed in with the other markers that the kids have.
