Scary bars for Halloween – Limited Edition from Nestlé

If you look closely next time you’re shopping, you’ll see the limited edition Scary bars from Nestlé. They are the same chocolate bars we know and love {all made in a peanut free facility, so I especially love}, yet with Halloween themed packaging and special spooky names for some added fun.

Don’t let ‘Scary bars’ fool you though, they aren’t scary at all, think: scary cute. Check out the new SCARIES, ScAERO, COFFIN CRISP and KIT KAT! Alright, we all know KIT KAT didn’t change it’s name, but the name fits with the black Kat theme, so why change mess with perfection?

I know many people that put ordinary mini bars into those decorated little bags, just to give them more of a Halloween-feel. With the special Halloween packaging of Nestlé Scary bars, you don’t need to take that extra step, that little bit of occasion is done for you.

But, let’s face it, it’s all about the chocolate right? I couldn’t resist putting my hand into the bowl and sampling while I photographed {hey, it’s part of my job. Don’t judge!}. This coffee lover went straight for a COFFIN CRISP, though I’ll always have a love for KIT KAT.

Then of course the girls and I wanted to decorate for Halloween, so we had a few treats while we worked. Then, there was movie night and the girls picked Beetlejuice, so that called for a few Scary bars while we watched.

… ok let’s just say I’ll be picking more Scary bars this week. Remember, they’re limited edition, so one day they’ll just disappear into thin air. Umm, kinda like the ScAreo’s I put into my pocket when they first arrived. Seriously, they just disappeared?! Spooky, right?

Scary bars come in a multipack box {$7.69 for 8 full-size bars} and treat-size single flavour packs {$5.99 for 24 treat-size bars} for a limited time. Yet, you can always find the familiar Nestlé treat sized bars in the assorted red box for $8.99-$15.99 {40 count – 90 count}.

Disclosure: I received product to facilitate this post. Yet as always, all opinions are my own.
