Getting Jobs Done – RYOBI Brad Nailer

My husband, like many others, goes a little gaga over power tools. He likes to completely stocked with every kind, shape and form – since you never know when you’ll need it. He’s right though, having a well stocked garage has saved us many times.

My husband was happy to get a review item just for himself, the RYOBI One+ 18-Gauge 2in. Brad Nailer. The last couple of times he needed a brad nailer, he’s had to borrow one – so having one now was ideal since there’s projects coming up that need this tool!

 RYOBI One+ 18-Gauge 2in. Brad Nailer

The Ryobi 18-Volt ONE+ System introduces the next generation in cordless convenience. This 18 gauge brad nailer features Airstrike Technology, which eliminates the need for noisy compressors, bulky hoses or expensive gas cartridges.

This means faster setup and easier maneuvering on the job site. The Ryobi AirStrike P320 18-Gauge 2 Inches Brad Nailer Drives 18 gauge nails from 5/8 Inches to 2 Inches length.

  • Selectable drive shift with single sequential or contact actuation
  • Contact actuated mode for production speed up to 60 nails per minute
  • Tool less depth-of-drive adjustment helps protect work surface and allows proper setting of nail heads
  • Tool-less jam release for easy access to clear nails
  • Dry-fire lockout feature extends tool life
  • Low nail indicator to quickly and easily see when it is time to re-load

Cordless anything is a good thing, but especially when it comes to a tool like this. When working on a building project, it’s much easier and faster to work without cords getting in the way.

My husband claims the RYOBI One+ 18-Gauge 2in. Brad Nailer has a comfortable grip, is evenly weighted and simple to use. He loves the light, making seeing much easier. I’m starting some work on my oldests bedroom right away – which will include some fixing of a couple baseboards.

RYOBI Brad Nailer review

We’re also considering building a deck for our creek summer property, which again, this brad nailer will be needed and will certainly help get the job done much faster so that we can enjoy the space.

The RYOBI One+ 18-Gauge 2in. Brad Nailer is available at Home Depot Canada, for the price of $149.99.

Have anyone on your Father’s Day list that could use a baby like this?

It certainly is, plus it has a great safety feature, so it’s one of the safest nailers too!

We have all kinds of tools yet I don’t think he has one of these, or maybe an ancient one. Thanks for the suggestion!
