There is a new line of Lalaloopsy dolls, called Lalaloopsy Workshop. My twins, who are massive Lalaloopsy fans, were excited to each get a doll in the collection. Available at most major retailers, they help inspire creativity and imagination while also helping master the fine-motor skills.
Lalaloopsy® dolls were once rag dolls that magically came to life and took on the personalities of the fabric used to make them. With the Lalaloopsy Workshop™, future fashion designers and stylists can mix and match expressions, hair styles, fashions and accessories for a one-of–a-kind doll with a unique personality.
The Lalaloopsy Workshop dolls have a distinct function – their body parts are completely interchangeable. These future fashion designers take this ‘designing’ to a different approach by allowing kids to mix and match pieces to create their own unique dolls.
My girls liked being able to trade hair, outfits and even legs. Some of the pieces are a little tough for them to snap to another part {they are 5 years old}. Yet, I like that it’s not so easy that pieces would fall off. Plus, the more they use it and the stronger they get, it’ll get easier for them.
Recommended for ages 4-10, you can get Lalaloopsy Workshop dolls in single packs {$19.99} or a two-pack {$29.99}. I suggest the two-pack since changing pieces between two or more dolls is a big part of the fun.
