Back to School Shopping with Sears! #SearsMomBTS

You might have noticed my #SearsMomBTS mentions on Twitter and Facebook these past few weeks.

Thanks to Mom Central Canada, we had the opportunity to dive into a Sears location and do some shopping for back to school. Being a huge fan of the kids clothes found at Sears, I was excited to see what was in store {heh}, this season.

The verdict: Color me impressed, you can just insert a huge giddy smile here.

The first thing I noticed was the massive selection on new and clearance items. Rack and racks to choose from for the girls – choices were endless. Then, I couldn’t help but gaze among all the sale signs. I didn’t know which to go through first, the many clearance racks or the new items which were 25% off!! Start the car!

My oldest immediately gravitated toward the trendy tween styles, mainly from the Girl Confidential brand. The colours and cuts of the clothes were so unique. I loved that many come with a tank for underneath or a necklace as well.

Isabelle loves her new heartbreaker top {which comes with the striped tank for underneath}, and her new Nevada boot-cut jeans with fancy details. Pardon the squinty-bright day, entering September with plenty of Sun is a great thing!

The twins were delighted over the huge Hello Kitty selection, while I admired the thick quality of the clothing as compared to other stores that sell similar character clothing. Into the cart went a cranberry and black top which has bows and glitter detail.

To match, I got a pair of cranberry leggings for the twins, with Hello Kitty on the leg and little crowns on each pocket at the back.

Simple boy-cut jeans and a long sleeved top, such a relaxed and comfortable look for Kindergarten. This peplum Nevada top was on clearance as well, $9.97!

As well, I couldn’t help but to pick up a Nevada Sundress with ruffles for the twins. September will still be nice and I couldn’t resist the $6 pricetag. It’s adorable, especially with my little princess always twirling and posing!

Also, I give MAD KUDOS to this dress/brand for having adjustable straps. Sundresses that are way too long in the strap are my worst nightmare, my girls always outgrow dresses while the straps still hang. So this one? Awesomesauce.

My shopping trip for Mom Central Canada was a huge success, so much that I went back a week later and purchased a few more items.

I don’t usually purchase too many back to school clothes in August {I wait for the September sales}, yet with the incredible prices right now, a great selection PLUS the wonderful KidVantage lifetime wear our warranty – I just had to go back to Sears.

On my second trip I got the grey and black Hello Kitty shirt and pants for the twins, Isabelle 2 more Girl Confidential shirts and a pair of character tees for the twins which are 2 for $15.97. The character shirts at Sears have bright colors, are on the thicker side and the ones I got are long sleeved – ideal for Kindergarten and for the Fall season.

Sharing more great news from Sears Canada is a contest, you’ll want to get in on this one. From now until Sept 5th, enter for a chance to win one of five weekly $500 Sears gift card prizes, and 35 daily $50 Sears gift cards to put towards your back to school shopping!

To enter the contest, β€œlike” the Sears Facebook page at www.facebook.com/searscanada and click on the contest tab. Click on the entry form and enter your information!

Good luck everyone and may your back to school experience be a wonderful one!
