family-travel-blogger-myorganizedchaos

We are officially into mid-July, how is your Summer shaping up?

Here in the household of chaos, we’re settling into a nice routine of ‘whatever strikes our fancy’. This routine is so unlike the ‘stick to-the-schedule-or-else’ school months of the year.

These precious 2 months is our time to ‘celebrate the un-schedule’ and take numerous mini trips, go to events and take in activities – as they come.

I just love this carefree, laidback and spontaneous time of the year!

While we travel out of country a lot in the Winter months, Summer is our time to explore locally. Hey, it’s the only season I really want to spend outdoors in Canada. You know by now that I’m an sun-lover at heart {Winter, boo!}.

I have a preference to explore my Canada in all it’s beauty … ahem, when it’s hot, hot, hot that is.

Like all sunny seasons previous, I really make it a goal to get out and take advantage of the girls’ Summer break. While there are a few lazy days at home due to weather etc, the majority of our time is spent outside and beyond. In fact, we’ve packed up the car and visited nearby cities and attractions a few times already this Summer.

Reality check! Make those memories people, you don’t have a lot of Summers before kids are grown up and doing their own thing.

GNOME-01So, back to travel, one of my favorite topics …

I have partnered with Travelocity.ca to Seize The Summer!

So, for the next couple of months, we will embark on some family travel adventures and I’ll be taking you along with us. Through social media of course … though I wish I could literally take you along, wouldn’t those photos be pricesless to post!

Watch for my Facebook and Twitter mentions all Summer long, using the #goandseizethesummer hashtag. You never know, maybe a famed little gnome might come along with us too! Get out the suitcases!

I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one that has a love passion for travel, with or without the kids – a plentiful mixture of both, I always say!

I really want YOU to explore + live + experience as well, life is just too short. Yet, we all want to save money too, which is why I have a deal for you my readers:

Use the code ‘CHAOS10’ and get 10% off a prepaid GoodBuy Hotel booking of
$200 or more on Travelocity.ca**

I hope you also make it your mission to make the most of this season and #goandseizethesummer. Don’t forget to use the hashtag on your travels too, cannot wait to see how far we go!

So tell me, any travel plans for the rest of the Summer?
