What You NEED to know before Shopping Online!

Frugal Fact: I’m an avid points collector.

Why not have your regular purchases give you points to use on more shopping? I consider that a no-brainer when it comes to smart shopping and making the most bang for the buck.

Yet, even the keenest frugalistas might not know about airmileshops.ca. I was recently introduced to this site and am BLOWN AWAY!

Did you know you can earn AIR MILES by shopping online?

airmileshops.ca really is the hottest tool for online shopping, as you can shop your favorite stores online and collect those points. Fact is, you might already be a regular shopper at many of the 100+ major brand retailers.

airmilesshops storesAs well, you can also earn AIR MILES from shopping at American online stores too so you really need to get yourself acquainted with the site. My tip {and what I’ll be doing} is to visit airmileshops.ca when I first set out to shop, instead of going directly to the online stores.

It’s as easy as 1-2-3, my friends:

  • Sign In – Sign in with your AIR MILES Collector Number & check out the 100+ retailers available
  • Shop – Select the retailer you want to shop with and you will be taken to the retailer’s online site to shop as you normally would
  • Earn – When you check out you will earn AIR MILES reward miles on your purchase!

After I found out about airmilesshops.ca, I realized that I missing out on a lot of AIR MILES, for quite some time now. In fact, the last was just a month ago when we purchased a family vacation package {with flights} via Expedia.ca.

I cringe over the points I missed with that purchase alone let alone other purchases at the Apple Store, Old Navy, Amazon.ca … hold me, I’m feeling faint!

Better late than never, this will change my online shopping!

Think of the online purchases you’ll be making soon. Whether you’re hunting online for that perfect Father’s Day gift, new patio furnature for your outdoor space, or those must-have items for Summer travel and fun in the sun – make sure you shop through airmilesshops.ca. Now and always, especially during Christmas. Think of all the points you’ll collect!

Need another great reason to get comfy at airmilesshops.ca?

How about one reason in the form of $10,000!

want-it-win-it-contest-airmilesshops

From May 13 to June 11, enter the ‘Want it? You Can Win It’ contest for your chance to win a Grand Prize of $10,000 cash or one of five secondary prizes of $1,000! This contest is available exclusively for AIR MILES’ Collectors. Here’s some more info:

  • To increase your chances of winning, for every AIR MILES reward mile you earn when shopping through airmilesshops.ca between May 13 to June 11, you receive a contest entry.
  • As an added bonus you’ll earn 25 Bonus AIR MILES on your first purchase made through airmilesshops.ca during the contest’s duration (May 13 to June 11) — that’s an additional 25 contest entries!
  • AIR MILES bonus miles offered by participating airmilesshops.ca retailers from May 13 to June 11 will also count towards contest entries.

So, what are you waiting for? Sign in on the site and have a look around the stores and collect AIR MILES for shopping online. After you have entered to win $10K, bookmark the site so that you remember the next time you shop. Collecting those points can be simple, and you’ll thank me when you are redeeming them knowing that you shopped from the comforts of home.

so much! it was like Christmas everyday!
i bought my son an xbox, i bought clothes, gave my brothers and sister gift cards for stores they liked, my friend a gift card for a store she liked.
I was on maternity leave at that time so it was great i could buy a lot of Christmas gifts for family.
        It was the best!

I used to collect air miles online but I found if rather have cash backs from other sites. Air miles redemption for airfare has really high taxes. The price to purchase the flights seems better.

What about redeeming for something other than flights then?

I guess it depends what you can redeem for. Calculated out redeeming for a Dyson Airblade fan but cents per mile wasn’t that great so ended up buying a refurb from Dyson.

very true! I was using up points once and could have got small kitchen items, yet they were at a bit of a higher cost that sales near me. So I ended up getting something else, a vacation! Great frugal tip!

Make sure to check it out next time you go to shop, any points are better than no points, and the shops? They are the ones I shop at most!

I do lots of reward programs, but am always amazed at how many other ones are out there. I wish I could always remember to check before buying, though.

I always try to collect air miles wherever we shop. Interestingly my in-laws used to be able to collect air miles on many farming purchases and over the years had collected so many they were able to fly us all to Mexico. 🙂 I’ll be checking out that site; thanks for the heads up.

Every point helps, thats for sure. You may think that missing it once doesn’t matter, but those little lost points add up fast! Whether a vacation or a free pots and pan set, it’s all saving you money in the end. LOVE AIR MILES!! 🙂

It is a marketing activity in which a business rewards one or more
affiliates for each prospect or customer referred by the
affiliate’s own marketing efforts. You then take an ad
from someone else and share it with your list. For instance, if you see a lot of purchasing an e-book on how to
combat diabetes; you can use Google Ad – Words tool to find keywords associated with the niche.
