Scholastic Canada Book Titles for Tweens

For the past year my oldest daughter has found a new love for chapter books. No longer does she choose books simply for the photos, but instead goes for the stories and series of exciting adventures.

What other chapter books the other kids are reading is a common discussion these days. Wow, a whole new world in parenting!

Scholastic Canada has some great titles for ages 9-12, for the tweens in middle school. Alone or the entire series, books make great stocking stuffers!

Infinity Ring Books 1 and 2 ~ By James Dashner and Carrie Ryan

In this awesome new series by the creators of The 39 Clues, three friends head out on a time-travelling adventure to fix a whole bunch of “breaks” that have occurred in history. They must fix the past. To save the future.

The story stands on its own, but for extra fun, readers can also visit www.infinityring.com and play some fantastic games that are connected to the story. Each book comes with a super-cool “Hystorian’s Map” and promises to keep readers hanging on for more adventure!

The first books is by James Dashner, New York Times bestselling author of The Maze Runner series.

Drama and Smile ~By Raina Telgemeier

No one does coming-of-age graphic novels like Raina Telgemeier. These wonderful stories speak to contemporary girls about contemporary issues—braces, middle school, boys, frenemies, and so much more!
