Playtex Diaper Genie Elite Sampling Opportunity

When you have a baby {or twin babies in my case}, you really do need a genie at times. A helping hand, a short cut – anything to make those days a little less chaotic.

Speaking of, for those that have one baby, imagine doubling that. Literally, that’s a stinky mess 24/7. I really wish I had $1 for every time I was seen running through the house with a loaded diaper. And don’t get me started with stories of when I caught the twins picking diapers out of the trash. A uaul day at the parenting office, right?

Playtex Diaper Genie Elite is the #1 selling diaper pail brand in protecting against unwanted germs and odours. It has has all the requirements moms need when it comes to diaper pails: An ergonomic system with foot pedal for easy hands-free disposal, no bending, no twisting, no mess, Five-layer refill bag helps seal in odours and germs, Innovative, double-clamp air-lock design helps prevent odours from escaping and diapers only touch refill film, not the pail, so no messy residue is left behind.

What makes me pause at this description is the foot pedal for hands-free use. Again, may I make mention to the fact that I have twins and like thousands of people tell me on a daily basis, ‘You really do have your hands full!” Yes I do, wanna help then? Hey Diaper Genie Elite, thanks for the offer! Heh!

I do wish I could rewind time to when my twins were babies, so I could test out the Playtex Diaper Genie Elite for myself, I cannot {snuggling two babies at once is awesome, btw}.

So, I enlisted the help from a My Organized Chaos reader who also happens to be my cousin. She jumped at the chance to try this out in her home, so like a good genie does – her wish was granted!

Here’s what Tammy had to say:

I was so excited to review the Playtex Diaper Genie Elite as I haven’t used any sort of diaper system before. To be honest, I was sceptical as I haven’t heard too many good things about past diaper disposal systems. Yet, I was willing to give a good try. When it arrived, I passed it {like anything else that might need assembling} over to my husband yet in seconds it was ready to use. It was so easy!

It wasn’t long before I got to use it for the first time, great timing kids. It was so nice to be able to use my foot to open the lid, as my child left quite the present!

For the next couple of days I thought I wouldn’t be able to live with the smell as it kept getting stronger and stronger. Yet I discovered that when changing the bag, I wasn’t pulling the bag down as far as it could go. So, as soon as I started doing that, the stink was gone. Now I was a happy bum changer!

I am without a doubt a firm believer that the Diaper Genie Elite is a great product and it is very much needed with every parent.

{Thanks Tammy!}

  6. I <3 mine! I had a cheapy diaper pail for my son and it was gross so I was a skeptic when I bought this one. I <3 it! My daughter just turned 1 (on the 9th) and when she potty trains this will be going in the attic so if I have another I'm ready for the diapers. (also I find the refills go for $18-20 on sale at Costco for a 3pk)

  7. Would like to try this with my 3 months baby girl lol sooooo many diapers lol 🙂

  8. This is a great product. I had the first diaper genie with my first son and it was okay but kind of a pain in the butt to twist with each diaper, it never worked right for me. It wasted alot of bags and was not hands free! This one even has a cutting blade when you open it to change the bag of diapers and the pedal opening is a blessing when your hands are full and you are going for the quick change. Congrats to all of the product testers, I am sure you will be pleased.
