pediped Cold Weather Boots

It’s the beginning of November and Winter has hit hard in Alberta, insert pediped Cold Weather Boots! Needless to say, Winter boots and us Canadians are BFF’s. A beloved brand for all styles of footwear for kids, pediped now has Cold Weather Boots. And they are as sassy and adorable as they are warm and functional.

Now, to make things very clear, we Canadians have high standards for boots. They need to be warm and keep kids dry. And I mean withstanding all kinds of below zero temperatures, freezing temperatures. Yet, they must also be water resistant, for all that slush and melted snow. And that’s exactly why I like the Cruz boots my twins received from pediped {arv $79}.

Features:

  • Withstands temperatures as cold as -20°C
  • Cushioned inside for ultimate comfort
  • Self-cleaning rubber sole with extra traction for a steady step
  • Features the Flex Fit System™, which allows children to adjust the fit of their shoes and prolong the length of wear
  • Approved by the American Podiatric Medical Association for promoting healthy foot development

Keep in mind that I would love if these puppies withstood temps below -30°C {did I mention FREEZING weather?}, yet I still much prefer these over other pairs the girls have had. For comfort. For flexibility. For ease at removing, cause boots are bulky. And again for the rubber sole that keeps the feet dry. As well, for the inside lining that is fleece and super soft.

I prefer Velcro closure for boots, for all my kids, even my oldest. It’s just easier and faster, especially when I’m trying to get 3 kids into ALL THAT Winter gear. So, bless pediped for the Velcro and making my mornings a little less chaotic! As well, the tongue is wide and attached to the boot, so you do get complete closure around the leg, to withstand the elements.

And, just as all pediped footwear, they just look good. That matters, even in the Winter!

Contest Alert: pediped has teamed up with Disney Fairies and are giving away a Funjet Vacations family ski trip to Keystone Colorado, to celebrate the new Tinker Bell movie “Secret of the Wings” You can enter at pediped.com/tink for your chance to win {ends 11/30/2012}.

As much as this vacay would be great for one of my readers to win, I’d also like to offer up a chance at any pair of pediped shoes! On vacation, special occasion shoes or sandals for next Summer – kids always need a new pair of shoes!

Disclosure: I received product to facilitate this review, all opinions are my own.
