Pineapple Chicken with VH Sauces

I recently went Shopping as part of a VH Sauces Shoppertunity for Collective bias to make Pineapple Chicken. Truth is, I shop a lot {after all, I have twins plus one!}. Also, I use VH Sauces regularly for our meals. So my shop is truly a typical peek into a day of our shopping and cooking.

On this day, I went shopping at Walmart. I had just gotten home from a press trip and the cupboards and fridge were fairly bare. I like Walmart for its one-stop shopping {again, I do take 3 kids with me, people}.

Since the shopping trip was about VH Sauces, I started with browsing the website. They have a complete product list and recipes, so great for Easy Meal Ideas using their #DeliciousSauces.

Side note: there’s recipes on every jar of VH Sauces, which I love since I can shop for ingredients after I choose my sauce, no need to make a pre-list of things you need. It really is very handy to have these recipes on the jars. Besides a great variety and wonderful selection of flavors – the recipes are also a big part of why I reach for these sauces.

I decided on Pineapple Chicken, it’s one of my favorite dishes. By using the International Sauces from VH, it’s simple and tasty to make this popular Chinese entree at home.

The taste is up there with the best Pineapple Chicken I’ve ordered from restaurants, so this is one sauce I’d reach for again. Really, so very tasty and pretty easy to make.

You might notice that I don’t include a photo of the chicken while it cooks, that’s due to wok-cooking. I didn’t want my camera splattered with oil, so instead I concentrated on cooking and provided a pre and post cooking photo. You can more photos including our entire shopping trip in my VH Sauces Shoppertunity Google+ Album, so check it out!

Pineapple Chicken only takes minutes to prepare, so it’s a great recipe to choose when time-crunched. Serve with rice and your choice of veggie – voila!

Follow along and get inspired for your next meal:
