Last month I took part in a great chat on the Schneiders Facebook Page.
The topic was barbecuing, with tips and help from famed chef Ted Reader.
We all know I could use some help around the barbie. Ahem … recall when I set off the smoke alarms in the house, while BBQing outside? Yes, I needed the help!
So I jumped into the chat reading and learning basic grilling tips, all the way to the advanced with marinades and getting that smoked flavor. You can bet I took this information and put it to use, FINALLY BBQing food slowly and taking my time, without burning it:
That time it was basic burgers, but usually burnable nonetheless. Then, I tried hot dogs. Perfecto!
I then hopped onto the Schneiders website, and found a new recipe to try. I wanted one that wasn’t a ‘simple’ grilled food, in order to really test what Ted Reader taught me.
May I present Pork Tenderloin with Cranberry BBQ Sauce!!
And yes, this is MY grilling, MY handiwork. And it was DELICIOUS!! Yipppeeeee!!!!
Yet, it wasn’t that hard to make actually, I may be really getting the hang of this.
So, I’m so thrilled to announce that there’s an upcoming Twitter Party with Schneiders and Ted Reader – and you know I’ll be there! Ready to learn more, oh wise Ted!
If you need grilling advise, basics to the advanced, I urge you to join us – it shall be a great time. There be fantastic prizes up for grabs too. Anyone can come to the party, yet you have to be a Canadian resident to win the prizes.
Warning though, you may want to eat first or have snacks handy, this chat will make you hungry. #justsayin
