My Kids are #IronKids

Kids & Eating. Nuff said?

I have to insert a few eye rolls right now, because it really is a never ending battle.

While all my girls love fresh vegetables, they hate cooked ones. Fruit? love it. Meat, depends on if it’s dipped in Ketchup or Dressing. I can’t totally complain since they do eat, for the most part fairly well. Yet, there are certain foods and food groups that they aren’t crazy about, and I’m fairy certain they lack some vitamins and nutrients from their diet.

Why the hesitation? WHO REALLY KNOWS!

I mean really, you could put a plate in front of them but look away and the twins trade plates. 10 minutes after supper I stand in the kitchen and try to remember who it was that scarfed down her meat and who hid it under the potatos. I had a better sense when I had one child, but trying to get a handle on what 3 kids are taking in – I’m so confused!!

Which is why it’s good to have that backup. By backup I mean, IronKids Gummy Vitamins.

Why these particular vitamins?

  • Varieties:  Multi, Omega 3s, Calcium & Vitamin D
  • Uses only Natural flavours and colours. Nothing artificial, no sugar coating.
  • Gluten Free, Nut Free, Dairy Free
  • IronKids Omega is the first gummy to use 100% fish oil with no fishy after taste
  • IronKids Omega Gummy won Canadian Living Best New Product in 2010- voted on by Canadians
  • IronKids was the first on the market with a Vitamin D gummy for kids
  • IronKids is only entire brand line approved by Health Canada

But, really, WHY do I love IronKids?

My kids love them so much, it’s like candy to them. They ask for their vitamin daily, so it’s never forgotten. They take theirs and I take my Adult Essentials. Done deal.

Sometimes parenting comes with a whole lotta guesses and uncertainties. Yet, having that much-loved dose of backup ensures that they have all they need to stay active, alert and healthy.

You can get yours online or at most:  Costco, Rexall Pharma Plus, Metro, Sobeys, Loblaws/Real Canadian Super Stores, London Drugs and Shoppers Drug Mart.

I try to supplement them with D drops, but sometimes they’re just so resistant, and the Omega-3’s would be super helpful for my daughter who has sensory perception difficulties. Overall, I try to buy them their vitamins but it’s touch and go on selection and cost. I’d like Ironkids to be the positive change I need for my family.

  15. Teaching our kids about healthy supplements is as important as eating right and staying active! Especially with all of the nasty food out there! I would ove to win this package for my 3 kiddies 🙂

  16. i already use them for my youngest, one of the rare safe medications i can use for my FOD child! and she LOVES the taste

  17. We a big vitamin family. Even if you DO eat all the food groups, the chemicals, GMO and altered farming methods are leaving our food with less and less nutrients. Pair that with the fact that our soil in many areas has been raped to nothing and you’re looking at some problems. Vitamins are the one way you can make sure that regardless of diet (albeit we aim for super healthy) your children’s bodies are supplied with what they need to grow.

  18. I’ve seen these at the store… would love to try them out with my daughter. She’s getting to be a pro at swallowing things that *don’t* taste good, and I’d love to reward her with something that *does*!

  32. Like you I have twins. And they swap food, and plates and even ***gasp*** share!
And they have different likes and dislikes so I’m never sure what they are eating. Oh and yeah, they’re 3. Eating is a roll of the dice.

  33. I’d like to win because my son is even picky about eating vitamins and if these taste that good, he’d take them without a battle.

  34. I’d like to win because I think it would be easier for my boys and myself to remember to take their vitamins daily if they were looking forward to tasty gummies.

  35. I would love to win because my youngest child is THE pickiest eater ever! If it is not something made up of something that isn’t good for him, he doesn’t want it. If it doesn’t remotely look or taste like that (some vitamins do) then he’s not in. Its a crisis if he has to touch a fruit or vegetable… we have started incorporating vegetables into home made bread (although we are sure he has caught on as he doesn’t eat as much anymore) or applesauce or sweet potatos into pancakes…
    Go four year olds!!
