Rocky Mountain Soap Company

Text

This product moment comes near and dear to my heart. Rocky Mountain Soap Company is committed to making only 100% natural products and hails close to home, In Canmore Alberta. People like myself who are so very of this company, their mission and their products – are faithful customers, ones that know that their products are just THAT GOOD.

The reason why Rocky Mountain Soap stand behind their natural line of products? Our skin can absorb anywhere from 21- 94% of what is put on it. Considering that fact, synthetics and chemicals just won’t do. Instead, only the most nurturing and therapeutic ingredients from nature are welcome in their bath and body products.

I’m no stranger to the line of products at Rocky Mountain Soap Company, and I could yap and yap about my growing list of favorites which have won my heart through the years. Rather, I will focus on particular products which the company recently sent me for review. Though do note, I chose these particular products myself, so they are definitely ones I’d suggest for friends, family and to anyone reading this. And, with all, you get treats from head to feet … literally.

Note: I won’t be listing each and every ingredient of the products, so please refer to the product descriptions to see for yourself. {**some products contains nuts and/or Almond Oil}

Love Your Feet – no really, you should!

This collection includes a Foot Scrub Soap, Foot Body Butter, Foot Soak Bath Salt, and Pumice stone. I know, the first you’ll want to know about is the scent – how about, soothing relief with just one whiff! Seriously, before you open the box you will be taken to a whole ‘pamper me please!’ mood.

The Winter months wreck havoc on my feet and this collection could not have come at a better time. A nice soak with the Foot Salts {containing Epsom salts, Fir needle and Grapefruit Essential Oils} started the process. But cleaning and scrubbing isn’t the only task! The salts also contain Patchouli essential oil {which is known to be antibacterial}, as well as Chamomile and Lemongrass help to soften the skin. A Foot Soak really helps to increase the effectiveness of Foot Butter, which is applied after scrubbing. My feet thank me each and every time – have your feet thanked you lately?

A close up of a bookThe Favorites – perfectly named, I must add

“We try to do things that make sense. Sometimes we mess up and put rose in something that’s supposed to smell like lemongrass, but often we get it right, and what would be more right than putting all your favorite products into one pretty giftset? It would be like getting pearl earrings inside a pair of Laboutin heels inside a BMW. Only this is even better cause it’s 100% natural and doesn’t have any parabens, sulfates or yucky chemicals. We love making sense.”

The Favorites Collection includes Geranium Soap, Lavender Soap, Foot Butter, Peppermint Lip Butter, and Ylang Ylang Bath Salt. They don’t call it ‘the favorites’ for nothing, if you are shopping for the first time, this is the collection for you {or for Mom, Grandma etc}. I must commend the Lip Butter at this time, it does one bang-up job keeping lips chap-free and soft all winter long. Hello? This is Alberta! It could be -50 with the windchill, I know a good lip chap when I find one!

And now I must rave…

The soaps, the soaps, the soaps! For the guest bathroom, for my own bathroom – these are so devine, you won’t want just one! It’s the 100% Natural Handmade Soaps that first got my attention and had me coming back for more. With over 38 different kinds, how does one decide? May I recommend the 6-Soap Sampler?

Applause Time!

The duo behind the brand is a husband and wife team with two daughters. What started as a little shop in Canmore has now grown to boast 8 stores {plus many vendors} in Western Canada, though most are located in Alberta. If you can’t experience walking into a luscious-smelling shop in your area, there’s online shopping to be had from the comforts of home!
