30 Days of Play Challenge with #LEGODUPLO

I still recall the day that we gifted my oldest her first package of LEGO DUPLO. She was so excited, and over the years built some spectacular things. Parents everywhere can relate and recognize that proud smile on a kids’ face when they present a LEGO creation built from their imaginations.

We still have this same set {plus other sets added}, yet now all my girls get involved and play. I really do like LEGO DUPLO for being twice the size of LEGO = easier to find than the smaller variety and safer for toddlers to play with while building their dexterity and imaginations.

The kids and I are very happy to partner with the brand and Mom Central Canada on the
LEGO DUPLO 30 Days of Play Challenge, a fun way to promote play and creativity; with a chance to meet other parents, get ideas and win some pretty awesome prizes.

Starting today, February 27th, through April 10th, LEGO® DUPLO® will be sharing a new “play challenge” on the Today’s Parent website. There, your kids can get great ideas on new creations. Simply click on Each daily challenge and see which pieces it takes to build and what creating that particular items, promotes in development. As well, share or comment on that daily challenge! Doing so helps reach the goal of LEGO® DUPLO® donating toys to Make-A-Wish Canada!

There’s even more!

You can also submit your own “play challenge”, which will be an entry to win a trip for four to LEGOLAND® Parks {Florida or California} and your play idea may also be featured in the last 5 days of the challenge calendar.

I have to admit to rarely being an active participant when it comes to LEGO, so I love that my part in the challenge is to get in there and play with the kids. We are equipped with much LEGO DUPLO and throught the 30 days, I’ll be sharing ideas and our own masterpieces.

Where? Well, of course on this blog, on Twitter {I’ll use the #LEGODUPLO hashtag}, Facebook and Google+ and Pinterest.

When is the last time you played? If you and your kids want to make your own creation, make sure to submit your ideas and you could win. As well, show me your LEGO masterpieces – let’s have one big play date! 🙂

To kick off the challenge, join in on the twitter party tonight!
Join in on the conversation on twitter using the hashtag #LegoDuplo, and you could win one of 6 Lego Duplo prize packs valued at $150! Also make sue to follow the host, @MC_Canada – the Party starts at 8:30 EST! {no RSVP required}

~

Disclosure – I am participating in the LEGO® DUPLO® program by Mom Central Canada. I received compensation for my participation in this campaign. The opinions on this blog are my own.
