La Creme Cow Cheese

One of my favorite snacks for the family or for entertaining is the trusted cheese, meat and cracker tray. Not very exciting yet sure to please. Yet, if you want to liven up that tray, take note of the new La Creme Cow Cheese  from Parmalat Canada.

La Crème Cow spreadable snack cheese comes in three flavours; Original, Light {43% less fat than Original, so enjoy to your hearts content!} and Parmesan & Peppercorn. Inside each container is foil-wrapped wedges, which is great for sending in school lunches, or a little touch of presentation. Open it up, and the cheese is soft and easily spread onto toast, crackers or just a sinfully creamy bite.

By itself or on toast, I like the Parmesan & Peppercorn flavor . Put away that cheddar cheese spread and add a little variety and flavor to toast! I suggest trying this flavor on a bagel, it’s delicious!

A cheese tray needn’t be ordinary anymore, there’s plenty of recipes and serving options to try. First I tried spreading the Original flavor with a sprig of greens, half a cherry tomato and olive oil. Yum! Looks great for entertaining too, doesn’t it? Yum!

One day this last weekend, I opened one of our Original containers to find a few wedges had ‘disappeared’. Aside from the fact that my daughters’ are cheese-stealing-thieves, I think it speaks highly that the La Crème containers were beside packages of pudding snacks and other sweet treats. The kids chose the cheese above everything! So yes, this product is a hit with the adults and the kids and I will purchase it in the future.

Available in grocers across Canada, La Crème Cow spreadable cheese is priced as follows: Original {12-piece pack} has an ARV $5.49; Light and Parmesan & Peppercorn {6-piece packs} has an ARV of $2.99.

  87. I pretty much love cheese in general so it is hard to pick as I am sure they are all great. I suppose the Parmesan & Peppercorn one would be the 1st one I would try.

  749. I love this cheese! We mix it with my son’s pastina and he loves it, that is if there is any that I did not eat! I put it on everything – toast, pasta, crackers, melt it and put it on veggies!

    So good!
