Device Cases, Reduce Risk of Exposure to Radiation

Almost every person has a smartphone or a tablet, and needs device cases. Which stands to reason why you should know about the brand, Pong.

Did you know that those tech devices held in yours {and you kids’} hands produce cellular radiation?

**Apple, Blackberry and other cellular device makers warn consumers not to put their cell phone directly against their head or body when using it. {!!!}

It’s true, while holding that device, your body is absorbing 48 – 68% of the NFI (Near Field Intensity) radiated by your phone. Most of the radiation leaves a smartphone from the antenna region, typically the area of the phone that is held against your jaw or cheek. Proven by

Even more shocking, kids absorb twice as much radiation as an adult.

Considering this, lets again talk about the line of Pong products – a brand said to be the ONLY solution proven by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to protect users from cell phone radiation, while not interfering with phone performance. Developed by scientists out of MIT, Princeton, UCLA and Harvard, Pong cases, for smartphones and tablets, reduce that radiation by 95%. The company was founded just this year, formed from the latest research and technology.

If a case can protect you from a known carcinogen, then why not, right? Though I can’t test radiation defense of the product, I was able to review Pong’s iPad case, to see if the design was still functional.

Soft, sleek and lightweight, the iPad case is also exceptionally  sturdy. I like that the hard shell case envelops the tablet and that you don’t have to take it off to turn it off or use it. The design allows for many horizontal and vertical positions, beding in all directions for comfort and convenience.

The cover also includes smart technology that puts your iPad 2 into sleep mode when the case is closed {think origami}, and likewise, wakes when the case is opened. Nice to look at, and meets all my needs in function, it’s a wonderful case that protects the device and, without thinking about it, protects you as well.

The Leather Pong iPhone case which I received is $59.99, yet there are more cases available for Blackberry, Android, iPhone 3, and iPad.

Make sure to follow Pong on Facebook for news and promotions!
