Here’s one of our favourite meals, Hashbrown Casserole with Glazed Ham! I like that you can prepare this early in the day, great for those busy days. For us, the recipe make enough for two meals, so before split the batches into 2 casseroles {one frozen for later}.

Enjoy!

I slice garlic cloves and put them in slits of my ham. then I use a glaze, with dijon mustard, splash of maple syrup, honey, bit of dry mustard, rosemary, and any can of beer. I poke whole cloves all over ham then i baste the ham with the sauce through out the cooking process my kids wont eat ham any other way. I also do it in the slow cooker, doesnt get the browning effect but the taste is the same.

My family loves Hashbrown Casserole, we have it once a month at least. Nothing better than a Glazed Ham at Easter and we will have leftovers for brunch with Hashbrowns Easter Monday!!

My family makes this hashbrown casserole too! We joke that it is Saskatchewan’s provincial dish because everyone from there seems to make it! We sprinkle corn flakes on top for the crunch. Jokes aside, It is delicious!

[…] by Tammi on 12/09/2011 · 0 comments During the especially busy holiday season, I rely on easy meals that will fit with the schedule and help this Mom out. Somedays life finally slows down just before dinner, realizing it’s too late in the day to prep and make something warm and comforting.
