Pinkalicious Nintendo DS Game

pinkalicious DS game review holiday gift guideOver a year ago, Isabelle read her first Pinkalicious book by Victoria Kann – she was hooked. It was her favorite and most requested reading book – that is until Purplicious came out. And, would it be a coincidence that her favorite color was pink until her craze for the Purlicious book? I think not, now it’s all about purple. When I presented her with Pinkalicious, It’s Party Time game for the Nintendo DS, she leaped for joy. “But hun, it’s all about purple now, isn’t it?” {snarky Mom}.

In the game Pinkalicious, It’s Party Time, the player plans a complete pinkerrific party from creating the invitations {picking paper, writing them out and adding stickers} cooking all the treats at the bakery {cookies, lollipops and cookies}, Pinkalicious DS game review my chaosmaking smoothies and drinks, filling party bags, and blowing up the balloons. Just when I thought modern gaming couldn’t get cleverer {I’m making that a word}, you can literally blow into the microphone on the DS and blow up the balloons. Seriously.

But, what’s a party without friends to come, right? With the game the player can also create 17 different characters, and dress them up for the party. Have i got you convinced that it’s a girly-girl game yet? Wait, was this made for my daughter? It’s definitely a girly game, which I have enjoyed playing with Zoe.

Based on a #1 New York Times best-selling children’s book, Pinkalicious is a name that most girls will recognize if not adore. Pinkalicious: It’s Party Time for Nintendo DS comes with a pink stylus and cleaner {for a limited time only}. This alone impressed my daughter too, another pink thing to add to the collection of years of pink things! Ha! This game is rated E for Everyone and retails for $29.99. You’ll be able to find this right now in stores or online.

“We’re thrilled to announce that Pinkalicious™ fans will finally be able to interact directly with the world they love thanks to Pinkalicious, It’s Party Time,” said Tim Flaherty, from GameMill Entertainment. “Between the easily accessible activity mini-games and the large variety of customization possibilities, Pinkalicious, It’s Party Time is a must-buy for all young girls and fans of the brand.”

  1. What I am thinking about 100 Classic Books for Nintendo DS says:

[…] This is the "game" or ebook collection for the nintendo DS. It comes with 100 books (read…classics). The Nintendo DS makes an ok ebook reader (better if you have the XL DS). The choose of ambient music is really peculiar and interesting (maybe not to everyones taste…) I can see the benefits of having two screens to read an ebook (feels a little more natural). So… microsoft get off your lazy ass an build the "Microsoft Courier" – yes I know they killed the tablet…for now… Hello:) This video is about what I am thinking about the new "game" for Nintendo DS. The name of th…creen="true"> […]
