Crayola Gifting Ideas

holiday gift ideas for kids crayolacrayola gifting ideas my organized chaosThere’s no denying kids {especially toddlers}, love to draw, color and/or create. Even a couple kids that I know, who don’t love art as much as my kids, still have plenty of supplies on hand for those ‘indoor play’ times.

Yet my kids? My kids are always found with a crayon or pencil in their hands. My oldest daughter has always loved coloring, even drawing full pictures before the age of 3. That passion has passed onto the twins too, at age 3.5 they too sit down to color at least 7 times a day. Not kidding. Which is why I love being a Crayola Mom, the brand and this family make a perfect partnership.

crayola holiday gift ideasI recently got a Crayola package which made my kids very happy. Together they sat on the kitchen floor and created masterpieces for hours. Solo, helping each other and comparing creations; I love the creativity that emerges each time they work on their projects.

I had mentioned many times here at My Organized Chaos, that my oldest is always seen with pencil and paper {even on the short drive to school}. Right now she is really into writing and illustrating stories, so it was perfect that Crayola sent her the Crayola Light Up Tracing Desk. When I was younger I used to hold up a piece of paper to the window and trace the harder illustrations. Who didn’t, right? So it’s no surprise that my daughter used to do this as well. With the Crayola Light Up Tracing Desk is a container that not only stores papers and all your writing gear – but also works for tracing! There’s a bulb inside which illuminates the entire container {aka, desk}, so that you can trace without being in an awkward position.

Crayola Gifting Ideas My Organized ChaosMy daughter squealed in delight when she seen it was the Disney Princess Desk {there’s a CARS on as well}, and was so excited to create Disney characters, just like illustrators do. The set comes with all sorts of character to trace, background pages to trace the characters on, stickers, coloring pencils and more. Isabelle loved that there was even a variety of clothes to trace, for all the princesses. And, there’s even accessories to draw too, like little teacups etc that go with the Beauty and the Beast pages.

The twins were really excited to get new Color Wonder Sets from Crayola. Having had a few of them before, they knew exactly what they were. In fact, I’m certain they had the same Disney Fairies set before too. That didn’t stop their excitement though – it was new pages and new pictures to color that day.

For the twin toddlers, Color Wonder is great because they discover the images and pictures hidden on the pages. It’s like a game of colorful hide and seek for them. For me? Well, I love the mess-free aspect of Color Wonder markers and pages – which makes these perfect for at home or while traveling.

Kids take to Crayola as they do candy. I really don’t think I need to explain why Crayola products make excellent choices when it comes to holiday gift ideas. It can be as simple as new coloring books and packages of crayons in their stocking to full sets as their main gift. And, gifting soemthing that inspires creativity, imagination and exploration {along with hours of fun}, is always welcome in on my shopping list! As a Crayola Mom I have featured many of their products over the last couple of years, so do a search of Crayola on My Organized Chaos and perhaps you’ll find the perfect product to suit that child you are shopping for this year.
