Sleep Innovations Mattress Topper

I have been suffering with back and neck pain for years, years! Massages and trips to the Chiro only offer me short-term relief. Part of the problem is when I get a chance to sleep, I sleep hard, and in any position. The topic of getting a new mattress has been discussed in this household, yet we do have a relatively newer mattress. Then hubby said to me, “Do you wake up sore when you sleep in hotels?”. Ummm, no, not at the ones that have that topper on the mattress…

When I was contacted to review a Sleep Innovations Mattress Topper, I was game. No, I was thrilled. And when the mattress topper arrived, I couldn’t wait to test it out. It came all rolled up and compact, but once you opened the package, it exploded in foam softness. It’s pretty neat to see, the gel memory foam expands from very small to a huge size.

Then you fit the gel memory foam into the included mattress cover and zip it up all the way around. Attached to the cover is a mattress sheet, to tuck under the mattress. This is great, since then it doesn’t move all about while you sleep. I immediately recalled the ‘topper’ {aka, cheap foam} on my oldest daughters’ bed and how it’s literally a pain in the … ahem, back.

And my sleep, oh wow! Every part of your body moulds into the bed, and with every turn I immediately find that ‘comfy place’ in that sweet 100% Egyptian cotton goodness. You know that place, usually so hard to find {not anymore!}. In short, yes, my back feels so much better. I don’t recall waking since that first night, with back pain. I say ‘don’t recall’ because when it’s not there, it’s easy to get out of bed and onto your day without thinking about it.

Yet, I have to admit, there still is some neck soreness for me {not as much as before granted}, which leads me to the same question asked by my hubby when we chatted about our Sleep Innovations Gel Memory Foam Mattress Topper, “Do you have neck pain after sleeping in a hotel?”… I think I may need to check out the pillows at Sleep Innovations. Years later, I’m finally learning, better late than never, right?
