Oftentimes in my busy and chaotic day, I turn to the tried and true favorites when it comes to dinnertime. I repeat recipes and meals to save time, since I know exactly how long it’ll take to make, but also because I know my picky kids will eat it. There’s nothing worse than taking the time to plan a new recipe to only find that all that preparation and planning went to waste when no-one like it. Yet, sometimes even the tried and trues get boring, right? That’s why I was excited to learn that I can change up my favorite meals, just by adding one ingredient found in my panty – Hunt’s Tomato Sauces. Hunt’s products are versatile and I can easily incorporate them into our favorite meals.
Hunt’s and UrbanMoms have teamed together to create 20-minute meals to help ease the burden of meal preparation. Bloggers Gav and Kath have come up with some delicious and easy recipes made with Hunt’s Tomato Sauce. I especially took a liking to Kath’s Homemade Pizza in a Hurry. This recipe uses pancake mix to make the dough, and honestly, I never thought of that before! I love this idea and will be trying that next time we make pizza. Plus, letting the kids choose their toppings increases the chance that they’ll eat it. As well, it makes sense to use Hunt’s Tomato sauce on the pizza, I have to admit to that narrow thinking that I need ‘pizza sauce’ to put on pizza.
You can vote for your favorite Hunt’s Tomato recipes and have the chance to win! Kath and Gav have come up with three recipes featuring Hunt’s products, showcasing one each every week {they are currently on week 2}. Check in at UrbanMoms each week and read both Gav and Kath’s recipes, compare the pictures, and then vote by telling them what you think of them, in a comment to the posts! For your opinion in the UrbanMoms Hunt’s Tomato Cook-off, you’ll have a chance to win a fabulous slow cooker prize package consisting of a Hamilton Beach Slow Cooker and an assortment of Hunt’s products!
Better yet? With each comment {to a max. of 100}, Hunt’s will donate one can of tomato product to the Cook-off winner’s {Gav’s or Kath’s} local food bank. So, it’s not only an opportunity to win, but to also support those in need!

I ONLY use Hunts Tomato sauce on recipes. It’s so tangy and delicious with just a little bit of garlic powder and dried basil. Entering the contest!
