It’s tradition: pick the finest pumpkins and choose a new design to carve into it. Sometimes we do the usual pumpkin face, sometimes with a scary or silly twist. Sometimes we choose animals, names or even characters. This year, due to a busy schedule, I had no time to get really creative. Instead I chose a couple easy pumpkin stencils from the Life Made Delicious website.
Did you know they had more than just recipes? Really, you should browse the site often, there’s plenty to see and content is always changing!
So, with out printed-off stencils, my kids and I made the best pumpkins ever this year. I know, I say that every year. Yet, I love the entire process; the excitement on their faces, their involvement and grossing each other out with ‘guts’ and such.
This year the twins really got into helping, seems like yesterday they were watching me and their big sister carve pumpkins from their bouncy chairs. I love that they all are really into the Halloween festive moods this week, so excited for the big day!
Happy Halloween everyone!!
