If there was one thing that I was thankful for when I had all of my children, it was the internet. I can’t count how many times I relied on the advice and conversations of other new Mom’s, whether it be on specific topics or just knowing that I wasn’t ‘alone’ on this path called parenting. The biggest adjustment for me was to be ‘stuck at home’ more times than I was used to. This is especially true when I had the twins and developed complications to my emergency c-section. I was at home so much back then and at times felt so isolated and depressed. Again, I thank having other Moms to talk to, at any time I needed the interaction.
Back thenI frequented parenting forums, yet these days’ it’s all about Facebook, isn’t it? So, where’s the Facebook group to join of you want to connect with other Moms? Everyone, meet Baby and You! The group focuses on conversation and savings, for the new to the seasoned Mom’s.
At Baby and You, discover offers, promotions and sales, since it’s sponsored by Loblaw’s. As I write this post, there are no current sales and discounts listed on the page, yet I do hope there’s some up soon. As a frugal Mom, I’m eager to see what they list! Speaking of shopping, you can access your local Loblaw flyer right there at Baby and You too! Since it is a place for conversation, there are articles created for the page, which are written by 2 bloggers. One focuses on topics about babies and the other writes about ‘Mom’. I like this idea, since every parent should be equal focus on their children and themselves. Believe me, it’s so easy to lose yourself in your kids, and a good reality check keeps everything in balance.
I hear that ta great surprise os soon going to be announced at Baby and You. Word is, it has to do with Joe Fresh, which is one of my favorite reasons for going to Loblaws.
I know that any parent can use a little extra support now and then, so make sure to check out Baby and You on Facebook.
I am participating in the Baby and You program by Mom Central Canada on behalf of Loblaw Companies. I received compensation as a thank you for my participation. The opinions on this blog are my own
