Hula Mula {Cool Fashion for Kids}

Hula Mula was created by the makers of Knuckleheads, a hip and uber popular clothing line for boys. Hula Mula and big brother Knuckleheads are a top pick by many celebrities. Angelina Jolie, Keven Cosnter, Madonna, Britney Spears, and many more choose Knuckleheads and Hula Mula for their little trendsetters! Surely you have seen the adorable fedoras and hats worn by many celeb kids – those are Knuckleheads!!

You won’t find cutesy characters and baby animals on the clothing on either of these lines. Instead, the line offers little fashionistas {for ages 0-8} unique clothing that has that vintage & classic inspired look. And, since I have 3 little fashion-fatales of my own – I’ll focus on Hula Mula in this post. Yet for those with boys, Knuckleheads is worth a browse. Thanks to Canadian distributer, Fulton Sales, my girls got Hula Mula outfits of their own for review.

My appeal comes from the fact that no other kid at the playground will be wearing the same pieces. Also, the Hula Mula clothing has that ‘homemade’ look – no labels, no licensed graphics – just adorable and classic pieces that will last long past the latest fad.

Katie is Wearing:

  • HM: De-Ja-Vue Top
    ~ Crisp white cotton knit tee w/black cotton ruffles on arms, and pink plaid ribbon.
  • HM: Dot.Com Shorts
    ~ Cotton shorts in a cute polkadot print and sailor high waisted cut.

Sophia is Wearing:

  • HM: Oh no you din’t!
    ~ Soft pink cotton knit skirt w. black netting layer, comfy elastic band.
    ~ Black & white stripes tank cotton knit w/pink trim

My favorite has to be the Hula Mula Dot.Com Shorts – the polkadot print and sailor high cut waist are fashionable as they are unique. Really, I want a pair of these, just like my lucky girls!! Wait, the tops are also one-of-a-kind with their details and feminine touches. Hmm, then there’s the pink skirt though – I love the fitted waistline and then ‘poof!’ with the black crinoline underneath. The skirt provides a little sass for a princess! Ok, I really like all these pieces and you can mix & match too!

One morning I took the girls on errands, both wearing their Hula Mula’s. I have honestly never been stopped so many times by other Mom’s before. Everyone kept commenting on their clothes and how cute they looked. So, I’m not the only one who took notice, nice! Hula Mula also caters to all girls alike, sizes run from babies to Youth 14!
