HP Photosmart eStation All-in-One Printer

Just when I thought I saw it all when it comes to home printers, HP changed that. More than just print, copy, scan and fax – the HP Photosmart eStation All-in-One has one feature that raises the bar in home printers.

Key to the HP Photosmart eStation All-in-One is the included HP Zeen, which is a detachable 7-inch full-color wireless companion. With the Zeen, you can browse the web, match movies, check the weather, read books and listen to music – from anywhere in the house. You see, I have been contemplating getting an iPad or other wireless tablet device, yet to be honest, I just want so I can use the net {and work} while outside and in areas in my house when carrying around my laptop isn’t favorable. Yet, I’m not sold that I would actually use a tablet device on the go, since when I am ‘on the go’, I really have no time to use it. So, from the comforts of your couch, you can use the Zeen; or dock it on the printer when not in use.

The HP Photosmart eStation All-in-One Printer allows you to e-print from any email-enabled device. So, I can print directly from my phone, since the printer has it’s own unique email address. If someone is sending you an attachment to print, just give them your printer email address. Likewise, you can also scan a photo or document on the HP Photosmart eStation All-in-One and email directly from there.

It comes with HP Print Apps, so without using your PC, you can access content such as Kraft, Mapquest, Facebook, Barnes and Noble bookstore and Disney. I used this feature once, finding a recipe {from the couch}, and then was able to print it off right from the Zeen. Yet, in a funny way the Zeen saves on printing and paper-waste since I could have read it directly from the Zeen and not printed. Keep in mind, it connects to the internet via Wi-Fi and not a cellular connection, thus apps are limited {versus ones found on other tablets}.

I never thought I’d say that a printer has been fun to use, but the HP Photosmart eStation All-in-One has been. More than just for print, copy, scan and fax – myself and the kids have been enjoying playing around with the Zeen. It’ll be interesting to see what the next advancement is, for home printers!

  11. Another HP Product I would like to try is the Compaq Mini CQ10-600 PC Series Laptop.

    Thanks for the great giveaway.

  12. Actually I am shopping for a new laptop and the Compaq Presario is on my short list. Think HP would let me have one for review?

  13. I prefer the old Standard desktop for the ease of expansion and adding new software.
Although with the ability of the HP Compaq 6200 Pro Microtower PC to have 16GB of RAM and up to 1T of memory I don’t think I would have to worry about expansion again!
Add that with HP’s reliability factor and excellent warranty I would definitely go for any of the models in this class.
Add in the HP PhotoSmart printer and you are good to go with about any line of work or home computing!
I also am an email subscriber!

  14. I could use the HP 8300 Professional Image Scanner. With thousands of old negatives, slides and photos laying around here I worr about not having digital backup of these precious memories.
