It’s official – Bratz dolls and accessories have no taken over my daughters’ room. When asked why my daughter likes Bratz so much, she would respond with, “They’re cool, Mom”, “They have wigs” or “They sing”. Pretty vague, but to understand young girls is always a little tricky. My daughter recently got to review the DVD, Bratz: Best Friends Forever which will be released on July 6, 2011 onto video. Isabelle was pretty excited, choosing it to watch for one of our movie date nights.
Synopsis: Celebrate BFFs with the Bratz! Cloe, Sasha, Yasmin and Jade discover that true friends are forever in four super-amazing episodes packed with friendship and fun! From offering up a little constructive criticism when a friend loses her way to helping a new friend build confidence in herself to realizing it’s best to stay true to yourself, the Bratz always put their friends first!
Here’s a Mom talking, so you’re are forewarned…
At first I made ‘that face’ when I seen Bratz dolls – with their big heads and flashy makeup. Yet, the premise behind the toys has a really good message. Now, when it came to the DVD, I just assumed it would be annoying, full of lots of ‘totally’ lingo. I was surprised that I actually enjoyed the episodes, the Bratz characters are actually really appropriate for young girls. And, it mixes fun adventures with a great message on friendship. I always like it when my daughter can learn a life lesson from a video.
There are 4 episodes on this one dvd. Each spisode is entertaining and teaches along the way. Best of all, my daughter hadn’t seen any of the episodes, so it really kept her attention. Get yours at Amazon!
