OxiClean Power Paks

Have you tried OxiClean Power Paks? As you know, I have 3 princesses who insist on wearing their fanciest of dresses each and any day. But don’t let those girls in dresses fool you! Rather than delicate tea parties, my kids are always found rolling in the grass and digging in the dirt. So, I have to stay one step ahead when it comes to laundry and ensuring those dresses don’t show signs of the abuse they undergo. After all, I tend to buy quality clothes and don’t like replacing them if they aren’t grown out of.

Remember my recent orange pop thief? That orange pop was on the face, down the neck and all over the black and white dress. It wasn’t until late the next day that I had time to wash the dress and cringed at the thought of getting that orange dye out. After all, I was still trying to remove the stain from around my daughters’ mouth! I thought this was a perfect time to test out a new laundry product I got from OxiClean {I am on the OxiClean Stain Busting Advisory Board, so I’ll be routinely sharing different OxiClean products that I am trying out}. This particular one is called the OxiClean MaxForce Power Paks!

An OxiClean MaxForce Power Pak is added right to the drum of any top or front loading washing machine. And, you can add one to any load of laundry {whites, colors or both}. You use them in conjunction with your regular laundry detergent – these are stain fighting boosters designed to get the messiest of materials out of fabrics.

Technically, you are to add the Power Pak, your regular detergent and let it soak for a bit after the water fills. Well, the busy/distracted Mom in me didn’t do that – I just let the cycles run. On tougher stains like grease, blood or oil, I think I’d try the soak. Yet on this particular ‘orange pop left on dress for a couple days‘ I did not. And…..it came out just like new! There is no evidence that my toddler chugged an orange pop as fast as she could. Well, except for the photo I got of the occasion, of course.

As a regular user of OxiClean products, this was the first time I tried the OxiClean MaxForce Power Paks. And, I have to admit, I like them. They are very quick and easy to use, which I think any busy parent would appreciate.

  1. I would like to win because I use an old hook up to the kitchen sink tap washer and it’s really not that great and oxiclean max might just help those stubborn stains come out

  2. I would like to win because I have an almost 2 year old boy who just loves to play in the dirt, sand and mud. He also puposely makes himself ‘fall’ when playing outside. I believe he is practicing to become a stuntman later in life. This makes for lots of nice stains!

Also his clothing tends to be some kind of magnet when he eats pasta with tomato sauce. I’m not sure why this is as his clothes don’t attract much of other types of food. Very interesting this clothing/tomato sauce magnetism. I need to get the science community to do studies on this to tell me why this is so.

  3. I’d love to win because I’m very often faced with dirty dirty dirty clothes of my grandkids and these would surely help get them clean!
