My favorite aspect about Mother’s Day is being pampered all day long – even though I always try to make it last longer than the one day. It’s so nice to spend the day with family and get extra hugs and kisses from my girls.
Though we should be appreciative every day of the year, Mother’s Day is a nice reminder to take an extra step and show how much you care. I recall shopping for my Mom before Mother’s Day and making her something so special for her day.
She always had a tear in her eye when I gave her something I created. I didn’t know how much it meant at the time, but now as a Mom – I do! My girls already gave me a few special items for Mother’s Day – the twins made me a hand-print and poem from the daycare at the gym. It’s beautiful!
On Mother’s Day, we will be going out for brunch, it’s a tradition. For supper, my hubby and the kids make me a nice supper, my choice! I look forward to a day without cooking and cleaning, and I have already directed hubby to the easy recipes found at Life Made Delicious {and possibly showed him a couple I would love to try}. They have some great Mother’s Day Recipes that all look pretty amazing.
I think I’m leaning toward seafood…. possibly pasta. There’s just so many choices, but since everything from shopping to prep to cleanup is done by everyone but me – I want to choose wisely…
If given the choice of any Supper Meal for Mother’s Day, what would you choose?
{ya, this is a desert photo and not supper – but it looked so good I had to post it}

Supper — beats me… But my 7 year old daughter has already asked which type of tea I would like for breakfast in bed and whether I would prefer Rice Krispies or Shreddies. lol… She’s such a sweetie!

Awe – that is sweet, Chelsey.
You can’t get better service! Adorable!

Anything I don’t have to cook myself! (Does that count!? LOL!) The family took me out for lunch and that was pretty nice. We were going to do a picnic but it clouded over and got windy.
