Motherhood

Thoughts on Motherhood…

I am one of 7 children, and had become an Aunt at age 3. When I had my first daughter over 6 years ago, adjusting to the role of ‘Mom’, wasn’t something I struggled with. There was no parenting task that baffled me or took me by surprise, the technical side I knew quite well. Yet what I didn’t prepare for and what still amazes me each and everyday, is the limitless love thatย  motherhood brings. It’s a love that never fades and never falters.

Once I was a Mom to only Isabelle, and cherished each day – so why not have another, we thought!? Within that month of deciding, we were again expecting another addition to the family. The doctor heard one heartbeat and felt one body. It wasn’t until a 22 week ultrasound that we discovered that we were going to be parents to Twins. Predicted my Isabelle all along {she really knew and tried to convince us, but we didn’t belive her}, there would be 2 more girls to add to our family. And on that day, then a Mother’s heart grew more.

I see my girls today and feel so blessed. I am MOM to three most amazing daughters. Today I am relaxing, reflecting and feeling so grateful for family.

And, to my own mother, bless her soul, I miss her more than anything. Unfortunately, she passed before I really knew how special being a Mom really was. Before I could truly thank her for all that she had done for me. My thoughts all over the place today. Needless to say, it’s an emotional day.

My heart goes out to Past, Present and Future Mom’s, I hope you have a wonderful day.

I’m so glad you said, “Past, Present and Future Mom’s”. All the above is important to remember.

Reading about your dream made me want to cry. It’s hard to loose people that we care about! I’ve had people in my life slip away and I think all the time about how my kids will have never known them. It’s so good to talk about them, share good stories. Stories are powerful!

You made some decent points there. I appeared on the web for the difficulty and found most individuals will go together with along with your website.
