NutriSystem Update

Last week was {I think} week 15 in my Weight Loss Challenge with NutriSystem Canada. I really don’t have too much of an update for all of you, I’m just going along trying to do my best. Yet, reality is, life throws us curve balls. Last week my hurdle was Easter. Also known as another festive excuse to indulge in ridiculous amounts of food and chocolate. And yes, I did enjoy a huge Easter dinner with my family and there was a chocolate egg eaten {ok, maybe 4…or 8}. I have been wrestling with whether or not I feel bad about it, and have come to the conclusion that I don’t. Sure, I could have done without that extra egg {or 4}, but the main thing to know is that you can’t beat yourself up over it. Dust the chocolate crumbs off you shirt and move on {heh}.

I am happy that I stuck to all NutriSystem breakfasts and lunches {dinners were a little hard for me last week}. When I ordered last, I tried a few new entrees, and I am pleased with my new choices. Here’s a look at my current favorites, it’s the delicious and convenient NutriSystem foods that have helped me regain focus after the holidays.

Week 15 results: 0 lbs
Total weight loss to date: -27.5 lbs

Not a loss, not a gain – I think that’s a holiday first for me! Still holding strong at a loss of 27.5 lbs.

Nutrisystem is providing their program free of charge for my participation in the Nutrisystem Canada Blogging Program. All opinions regarding my experience are 100% my own.

    Hey Tammi,

I know it’s hard when there are festivities going on,, but you did good to stay at 0 🙂

I personally think surviving Easter is your best strategy. I think not gaining around that much chocolate is an exceptional feat! i’m actually just on my way out the door to my weigh in and I’ll find out how much the chocolate damaged me. Good job!!

I think you’re doing a wonderful job. I feel if you can gradually lose the weight, the chances are greater that you will keep it off. The fact that you didn’t gain any deserves a pat on the pack, Tammi!

Thanks so much Diana, I agree.
It’s a learning process and gradual change for a lasting difference.

I’m not sure if you realize (I’m sure you do) but that’s nearly THIRTY pounds!!!! That’s fantastic news….with a week long all inclusive holiday AND Easter celebrations thrown in there….You’re kicking that extra weight’s butt and I bet that not only do you look fantastic but that you feel it too! Great job!!!
And who cares about the extra (4 or 8, lol) eggs you ate….the trick is to make sure we don’t *go crazy* and keep doing it, day after day after day…..it’s okay to have one (or 4 – maybe stop there. haha) egg once in a while….but getting right back to it, that’s when our body knows we’re serious and rewards us accordingly (ie no loss, but no gain either!)

So I say CELEBRATE! You are doing fantastic!

Hey, like I said, every once in awhile indulging is okay-It’s quite impressive that you didn’t lose anything, too! I’d say THAT’S an accomplishment right there! 🙂
